Great buy

I went from an Asus tri-band router to the Nighthawk a few weeks ago and so far it has taken everything I have thrown at it with out any drop in my speed, and my house hold uses many devices. I would definitely recommend this router to anyone looking to upgrade.

Best Router hands down

I love this router I’ve been using it for about two weeks now on one gigabyte of Internet and no issues whatsoever the range covers my 2700 square-foot home with no issue and the tribe and settings I have all my smart home stuff on one cell phones or another and then I give the last one to everyone that comes over and visit never have any issues with connectivity slow Internet speeds or anything highly recommend to any friends or family

I purchased this router to replace the .Samsung’s wifi extenders and all the issues related to them requiring to reboot them often. I could feel the quality build of the router the moment I opened the box. The installation was easy. Setup was seamless and the nighthawk app! I would definitely recommend installing it on your phone. It has amazing features and I few so good every now and then to see the utilization graphs on download and upload speed and data utilization. It’s worth the money!

As with anything new and technical it takes tweaking to get set up to the way you need it. This router is a worthwhile purchase. To bad internal parental controls are limited. Circle is better but comes with a subscription cost. As yet not proven its value. Will see.

Top Notch System

We have quiet a few items that connect to the internet in my household and I needed reliable router to handle the traffic. I also need something to assist with my multiple storage drives. The Netgear Noghthawk X6S AC4000 Trim-Band WiFi Router (R8000P) was what caught my eye. I has everything that I needed plus more. The ability to access my storage remotely is a plus, however I really like the built in protection feature called NETGEAR Armor (Bitdefender Antivirus) which is a 30 day trail. I purchased the one year protection renewable option. I am familiar with Bitdefender and it is a strong antivirus program. Because NETGEAR has intergrated this into their router makes it a valuable and well suited router for the Home and small Business. Needless to say I am very impressed with this router and recommend it to my friends and family.

Good Router

The router works well out of the box. Nothing special compared to my previous Netgear router other than the fact that I now have more configuration options and a stronger wifi. The best part is the easy configuration on the Guest network and the main network. The software app has a lot to be desired. I continue to use my computer to configure as I always have. Bitdefender is overkill given its cost. I’ll just stick with my current VPN.
