I’ve had it for a week and I’m already seeing the difference in my internet speed, would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if your looking for something that controls internet connections on each device.

This is a 5 star router for sure, 0 latency issues, if you want range this has it, 2500sq ft house reaches from one end to the other through walls and floors with full signal all the way around my property, for sure worth it.

good basics

seems to be a solid unit and fairly easy to configure, but some of the controls require far more clicks than necessary. for example DHCP reservations could be done in a table instead of individually.

So far -great (installed for 2 wks). No glitches - I actually replaced a 4yo R9000 that lost the 5g signal and seemed to dropping signals more frequently ---- This R8000 works just as well and the triband is a major plus.....use it also with a Netgear 1900 booster,,,,,good compatibility....

Best Router Ever!

I bought this unit because my current router wouldn’t give me enough coverage. Real easy setup, And now all my property even outside I’m able to be connected to the internet. I’m able to manage everything through the netgear/nighthawk application. I totally recommend this NIGHTHAWK X6S AC400 WiFi Router
