Truly Awesome Router

This router replaced an old Apple AirPort Extreme. I was afraid to set it up, being a Mac guy for 30 years. But it was surprisingly easy. The Nighthawk app for iOS worked flawlessly, configuring all of my devices, from Samsung TVs to an Apple TV to iPads to iPhones. Also throw in an iMac, a MacBook Pro and an old Mac Mini. It all just worked! I have a 1 Gig connection from fiber to my home. My speeds are amazing. Today’s speed test gave me a 981 MHz download and a 547 MHz upload! This Nighthawk router covers all the bases: easy setup and amazing performance.

An Awesome Router

I purchased this Nighthawk router to replace an aging Apple Airport Extreme; this router worked well as far as speed went, but it had a tough time reaching outer portions of our house. I was initially hesitant to move to the Nighthawk router given that I have been a Mac guy for at least thirty years. But I did my research and discovered that the Nighthawk router included the iOS app that really made the switch extremely easy. The app made it easy to connect my two Samsung TVs, my Apple TV, my iMac, my Macbook Pro, my Mac Mini and several iPads and iPhones. I also discovered that the performance of the router was amazing. For example, this morning I tested my speeds and found out that my download speed was 981 MGbts and the upload was 548 MGbts per second. (I do have 1 gigbit fiber coming into my house.) The Netgear router also covers the square footage of my house with signal quite nicely. If you are a Mac person that has feared switching from an Apple router, there is no need to fear anymore with this Neatgear router.

Excellent Router

I LOVE this router, its fast enough for my media server, plus it has 2 usb ports for 2 externals, 3 bands so 1 mghz is just for my work pc, still has enough bandwidth to play movies and play on a ps4 all at the same time with 0 issues
