Good Router with some minor issues

Router has a function to select the best network, I use another nighthawk as an AP, however there seems to be an issue with this. I switched it back and no other issues with the router. I haven’t setup a VPN on it yet and a bit concerned that the throughput will decrease so I may just put the VPN on devices. I am happy with the performance however the other software functions are suspect, for most they won’t need it.

My old Orbi for some unknown reason. I needed not just any router, but a great one. Especially during these times. My children needed WIFI service and the Nighthawk X6S AC4000 did it for me and my family.

It’s making social distancing bearable! Our old router just couldn’t handle all the technology in our house, but the Nighthawk can. So much faster! So easy to install (I’m 70 years old)!

I really enjoy this router. I have about 30 devices connected in my home all the time and this router gives great speed to each device. However if you have gig internet this device for some reason will never give you over 400 to any device.

The router without a doubt is one of the best out there. I personally have bad WiFi in general but even with the setback, the router helps enough to the point where it’s not as bad. I don’t regret getting this router, it helps soo much even with bad WiFi :) It doesn’t necessarily make it better, it’s just a slight boost that gets the job done :)
