Ideal Except For Password Jungle

Unit is sleek (though large!) and effectively multitasked, nimble and secure. I know that given the current security scenario multiple passwords (account/setup, join network, app, etc.) which must comply with certain parameters are necessary to maintain that optimal secure state. I also know that some of these password portals can be made to “learn” a user’s password, like setting Face ID, but at times I feel that Netgear could do more with easier access to explanation, example and tutorial as guidance in negotiating the password jungle for less-frequent users.

Very good. Lots of devices, whole house coverage

I had a powerful yet dated router I put off replacing. The kids gaming experience was frustrating so I upgraded. I have a 5 bedroom house with a centrally located WiFi spot. The gaming room is multiple rooms away behind multiple concrete like plaster walls. It is doing great. On my outside porches it works great despite going through brick walls. All corners of the house downstairs and upstairs have great coverage. The app is awesome. I never used a router phone app before. I have the PlayStation on the third channel all to itself. I have a dozen other devices tapping into the other 2 channels. I elected to go Nighthawk instead of a multi amplified system and I don’t regret it.

I am extremely pleased with the high speed performance of this router. Speed is not reduced when multiple devices connected to the network.

Replaced and older version ac3200 and well please with this model. Older one was having issues with one of the channels and was really great that I could give this one same name and password making replacing a breeze.
