Lives up to promise

Router lives up to specs. I am now able to roam from room to room with no issues streaming. There are no more dead spots in the house and I can know stream outside for family events too large for inside.

Been relatively happy with product. Runs fast and distributes WiFi from my basement through entire house. On occasion, I have to reboot , power completely down, as router seems to start running slow.

Our providers router sucked and we were tired of paying each month to put up with it! Their costumer rep was the one who recommended we purchase our own and that Netgear was the way to go. It was way more than we wanted to spend, but what a difference! It’s well worth the price and we own it.

Great upgrade router

I upgraded from the AC1900 to a AC4000 Tri-band and now the connectivity through my home and outside is even better. No more searching for stronger internet connection around the house and no more dead spots in the yard. Works great with my Canary security and Ring security systems.

I have had problems getting ample coverage in my 4200 sqft home since I bought it. I finally settled for just putting my router in my office to ensure that I had enough wifi signal to work. I recently bought and installed the Netgear Nighthawk X6S AC4000, still in my closed off office on the main floor of my home. I have ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES with getting full signal anywhere in my home. I even get full signal anywhere on my half acre!
