Fast, Reliable, Easy Installation

Netgear Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Trinband WiFi Router (R8000P) is the best thing I have purchased for my WiFi. I had the standard cable company WiFi box and when I hooked up the Nighthawk I noticed a difference right away in speed. My WiFi has improved a 100%. The best decision I made in buying this product.

Great Router, but ...

Had Verizon Quantum and extender. Great coverage in 2500 sq ft home. I replaced with Nighthawk R8000P because the Quantum was having issues with streaming multiple on multiple devices. NH coverage seemed okay -- until after a power fluctuation -- 3 brief bumps in the power in a row totally reset the router settings back to default -- except for the password. Haven't been able to get reliable 2.4ghz signals anywhere it worked fine previously. Reset, reconfigured, and same problem. Not goo as this impacts cameras, smoke detectors, and some other critical IOT devices. NET: Unless you have this plugged into a UPS -or- have rock solid street power all the time -- hard to recommend w/o those.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a linksys router before and my internet was slow and cut out. But after getting this one my internet is great. This would be a router I would recommend to anyone and everyone that has bad internet.
