Firmware causes DNS issues not resolved, causes connectivity issues

This has worked well for many months, and now there seems to be a continuing and known firmware issue. Once the problem was apparent, I was forced to rollback 4 or 5 firmware versions to get back to a version that works without the DNS issues. I went thru the whole process of upgrading my support so Netgear would actually help me fix it, and they could not. They just kept saying, "see it's fixed now" and it clearly was not. They just did not want to refund the support fee I just paid. I would not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

poor wifi

speed into nighthawk is 900Mb, speed out is only 300Mb on 5g. This model claim 4gb capability, so what gives?

The 5Ghz band is 1625Mbps. If you are unable to achieve your plan features you may consider looking into the setup and settings.

Speedy and worthwhile

I bought this router as I needed a good router. This one is super fast and able to handle many devices. I noticed that my speed increased substantially with this router. Solid.

Disappointing

The device worked wonderfully for the first months of ownership. It went downhill from there. My electronics will not connect to the device. The NetGear App with not connect to the device. Customer support is not helpful. Choose a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing

This is the best router I’ve ever purchased. We have a huge family and over 30 devices at a time on the internet. With this router the speed and connection are amazing and we can all stream, play games online, and other stuff easily! Would definitely recommend this router for a household of gamers!

Not what i expected

The router does have some speed but issues persist even after updating the firmware. All of the laptops that have tabs always do not work on the first time trying to open or pretty much anything on a browser including phones. After opening a few times it works well but is rather annoying and totally not worth the 299 i paid for it. I get better usability out of a router that is way older with out any issues buyer beware as I will never purchase netgear again period.

Super expensive - still barely works

I got 4 of these before finally quitting and accepting my fate that I’m not meant to have reliable internet. I’ve replaced every device in my network and still feel like my internet is so unreliable I’m left unable to do my job (working from home).
