Cannot Do Without

This is the 5th Router we have tried in our Office. Before getting this Router we had a lot of issues with lost connections or lag issues. The connection strength and the range on this router is Amazing. We have an Office on the 2nd floor of a 3 story Office Building and we can get connection anywhere in the building and parking lot. We also have approximately 40 devices connected at one time and it never seems to have any issue keeping up. I recommend this to anyone who needs a strong reliable network with range (who doesn't)?

Works Great, Easy Set up

I recently moved out to the country. I have fast internet but my old router just was not cutting it. WIFI dead spots all over the place, couldn't even use wifi calling. Since we have no cell service either that was an issue. After doing online research(cause I am a nerd) I was down to a few, this one being the most expensive. I bought it and I am not sorry. Was worth the extra to get the Tri Band over the dual band. I have great wifi all over the house and out in the yard by the pool. Buy this router, you wont be disappointed.

Great range even through cement

Many of the walls in my house are cement and my old router just couldn't keep a strong enough signal going steady through the house. this new one has been able to keep up for weeks now with online gaming, college work and web browsing (youtube mostly), without any interruptions. download speed is steady and upload speed hardly fluctuates and is due to my own computers transmitter. All in all, very happy with this new upgrade.
end note: it keeps up even with 11 friends over and 4 home residents all connected at the same time.

If you are looking for the all in one entertainment wifi router. Go no further. The Netgear Nighthawk X6S is your router. The speed your device will gain are outstanding. If you are a gamer or someone in your home is. The game connection to multiple gaming consoles or PCs is rock solid. And let's not forget streaming. 4K movies, Netflix, Hulu etc flawless. To top all that, you can connect a external hard and share over your network and the Nighthawk X6S is Mac and Windows compatible. The Netgear Nighthawk X6S is your future router.

Exactly what I was looking for

I'm not an internet genius but I just moved into a house with gigabit fiber and I needed a router that wouldn't slow down my connection/ would be able to broadcast throughout my whole home without any blind spots/ could connect to many different devices at the same time and be simple to set up.
The Nighthawk did all those things. There are a lot of things it can do that I don't even understand. I haven't had the time to really get in to the manual to see all that it can do. Despite that, it was a pretty simple plug and play set up.

It's a great product

Bought this product along with a new netgear cable modem now I'm having no more dropped internet connections and my internet is noticeably faster setup was a breeze and very easy to do took me all of 15 minutes to set up and the app for the router is awesome I can monitor the devices on my network and I can temporarily shut off service to my daughters phone and tablet so I'm sure she goes to bed on time overall it's a fantastic product and I'd highly recommend it especially for someone who has a lot of devices online like I do

Triple Tumbs Up!!!

I upgraded from a previous NETGEAR router (ac1750) that served us for many years. However, as with all modern households, found previous generation router incapable of managing all our connected devices. Our new AC4000 (R800P) with MU-MIMO performed better than expected, given some negative reviews. Its been in use for more than two weeks now and can report that speeds are up significantly and consistently including improved reach. This router is therefore Highly recommended for larger homes with multiple connected devices (+/- 10 and up)

Wifi Beast

Bought this as a replacement for an older Nighthawk AC1900 Cable modem/router because the wifi channels were starting to fail. The setup was fairly easy and painless for physical setup part. Since I already had a nighthawk router still working, trying to log into the new router to change the settings was a hassle at first. But after using the web router login and going that route seemed to do the trick. So far the the devices we use load up much faster and we have not noticed any lag time yet. I would purchase another one of these in the future.
