Phenomenal Router

I just replaced my Apple AirPort Extreme with this Nighthawk and am kicking myself for putting up with slow speed for the past few years. The nighthawk delivers extremely fast WiFi speed as shown on the box. Setting up the nighthawk was very easy. The instructions made it super simple and quick. I am especially pleased with the home VPN which was a breeze to setup as well. Highly recommend the nighthawk. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family who rely on my advice from time to time.

I replaced my 9+ year old router with this one. And wow...what a difference! The router configuration page is extremely easy to use! I love having the ability to choose which devices connect to which band. My wifi was slow before. Now? It's super quick! I'm very impressed by the range and speed of this router. It was also very quick and easy to setup! I haven't used it for too long yet, since I just got it. Though I'm happy to have a modern router and will be putting this through some hard testing soon!

Great Router

This router is everything I needed it to be - reliable, fast, hassle-free. My old router was crap - it would drop signal, disconnect, range issues. This router is perfect. I've had it for 2 weeks and have had ZERO issues. Always connected with multiple devices, streaming TV, gaming, etc. and have no had any trouble. The setup was a breeze with the phone app and I changed the SSID to my old router name/pw so everything still connected right away. I've never been more happy with the WiFi in my house!!

Excellent for large busy homes!

I bought the Nighthawk X6S (R8000P) router for our two-story 5,000 square-foot house after cutting off Cable TV and choosing to use all-streaming services. Additionally, I work from home via VPN, so a fast, powerful router with excellent WiFi coverage was essential. The Nighthawk X6S has proven more than adequate for the task. We have strong wireless signal to all corners of our house and it easily keeps up with all of the streaming, downloading, surfing and working that my family does. VERY pleased with it!

We are very happy with this Nighthawk x6s r8000p router. It's easy to setup. I did have some questions and found the customer service far above the other customer service group s that I have used for anything.. they are the best and are what all others
should be. Back to the unit, it's fast, stable, with great range. The only thing I would change is the color of the lights. White lights ? Come on guys , this a great unit but needs some color to it..gamers and younger people ( I am neither ) want visual inpact..

Recently purchased a Nighthawk AC4000 Tri-Band WiFi Router for my home. Installation was a snap to get it up and running with Netgear's NetgearGenie software. The app supplies all types of information that is easy to access. I let the routers intellect manage the speed and distribution of available band width. Very impressed with the ease of use and how my WiFi responds throughout the 4K sq ft house and across multiple platforms that include iPhone, iPad, computers and smart TV. I give a high five to Netgear!

Netgear Nighthawk AC4000

Sirs, I have had this unit about a week and it far exceeds my previous router, which was provided by AT U-verse. Prior to this unit we had spotty performance downstairs and in one of our bedrooms. Now the house if fully covered with a strong signal. I would have given the unit 5 stars but there is some interaction between the unit and our U-verse TV reception. They seem to interfere with each other - sometimes.
If this one goes bad, I would buy another one as I think my problems are in my U-verse equipment.

Massive Upgrade from Airport Extreme

I recently purchased this in conjunction with upgrading my internet plan to 500 Mbps down. This gives me the ability to have multiple machines streaming data/video. We have cut the cable and this router was the perfect choice for the cost while maintaining high quality streaming and supporting gaming. The setup is easy but provides all of the necessary features one could want in a router beyond that. The remote management is also nice if there's a problem when I am traveling and I can remotely administer the network.
