Love it's feautures and design

I purchased this router after much research and found that it's one of the top in its class. Not only will be ready for future upgrades in ISP speed increases but it also has wonderful range and speed at my current speeds. I love the options it has in regards to networks and optimization's for newer and legacy products in my home. I have some electronics that use WiFi that are older and I just don't want to part with. All in all, it rocks !

This unit is amazing!

I bought a new 4K TV and I was having a difficult time streaming 4K content to it. I bought the Netgear Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-Band WiFi Router (R8000P) and all my problems were solved.Not only did the router resolve my streaming issues, but the dead spots that existed within my home were no longer dead spots. Also, my connectivity was much better and I am no longer experiencing dropped signals. This router has been a great addition to our home.

Incredible speed

This product does exactly what it advertised, after multiple sessions with my local cable company with poor results from there modem and router, I decided to buy my own. Previous speeds where 20-40 mbps out of an advertised 200 on a good day. Once i installed and updated this router, I'm now getting consistent speed over 200mbps. I am thoroughly pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for fast and consistent internet speeds.

Beast mode

This router is a beast! It can handle my network's traffic with ease. Before, I was renting a modem/router combo from my internet provider which struggled constantly. I'm not a huge gamer, but I do stream a lot of content. This might be overkill for my router needs, but I'm super satisfied with its performance thus far. I'm getting better service than I'm actually paying for (around 90 mbps download speeds when I'm paying for 75!). Love it!

Excellent router: Very fast

This is a very fast wireless router. Even my oldest computers and laptops that have only 2.4g connection capability easily max out my ISP's maximum internet speed. I don't know how fast this router will go because with my ISP max speed of 50 mb the wireless connections at 2.4g easily match the max speed of my one computers WIRED speed. Setup and installation was fairly easy as well. Hardest part had to do with my ISP requirements and not the router.

Nighthawk X6S Router

Great Performance with fast speeds and long range. I have a single level ranch home that utilitizes WiFi for Apple 4K TV, Alienware gaming computers, Xbox one, and 3 occupants minimum with smartphones. We have had an awesome experience so far with this router and look forward to testing its abilities further. We also have our home security running on the 2.4 g side and have seen an improvement in reliability over our asus ac1900 that was used previously.

It is a beast

Having the typical household wifi devices I was finding it hard to find a good router to keep up. 3 4k tv's, 2 desktop computer, 2 laptops, ipad, cell phones, and an alarm system were too much to keep up with using a cheap router. I purchased a new router locally but was having connectivity problems with a few of the devices so I exchanged it for the Netgear. All problems seemed to go away now and I am getting 470 meg download speed out of a 400 meg service.

Great performance and endurance.

We have 14 devices connected to this router including 2 video game counsels and the routers performance is always smooth and steady. With my last router, (starts with an L) we were always getting kicked off line on our gaming counsels, and streaming movies was annoying with movies spuracticaly stopping to buffer. Not anymore, the nighthawk performs extremely well and is an excellent choice for those who have multiple devices and the wi fi range is superb also.
