This is just what I needed! I had a weak and often dropped signal from A LOT of products on the same router. I decided to purchase the NETGEAR Nighthawk router, and I am so glad I did! Since setting it up, I have had lightning speed WiFi for my 4 security cameras, door bell, tablets and laptop,printer, a tv in my workshop, and even cell phones. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new WiFi router.

Such a great router! We're getting whole house WiFi coverage that's so good I took the extender we were using out off service. And network speed is very fast with three bands capable of working simultaneously controlled by a 1. 8 ghz dual core processor. We can now stream TV programming, download using the PC as well as run our four mobile devices with no network slowness. The Netgear Nighthawk is a total 5 star product.

More Than Expected

I connected this router 2 weeks ago and it has performed better than expected. I pay for 150Mbs and with this router I am getting up to 245Mbs when I use Ookla speed test. Streaming 4k videos while downloading games was always a issue, but not anymore. I will be upgrading my internet speed since I finally have a device that can handle it. I highly recommend this device, especially if you use wifi for most of your devices.

Crazy fast and easy to use

Great router.. easy to set up and super easy to control with the geni app both on pc and on mobile device. Has great range. The smart feature that automatically assigns which wifi best suites the device is great. The only thing I don't like is when I turn on or off the guest WiFi it temporarily turns down my other connection gets a bit annoying after a while, solution would be to just leave the guest WiFi on all the time.

Netgear Nighthawk AC4000

Our first one was a Netgear and we had it for a long time before it quit. We went and bought Vlop and what a joke that was...I spent 6 hours trying to get that to work so we took it back and bought the Netgear and it only took me half hour to get it to work. Let me tell you...Nighthawk is the best and it's so simple to set up. I will never buy any other brand but Netgear and I highly recommend Netgear. I love my Netgear.

Great router - cool look

I purchased this router to replace an existing WiFi router. The problem with my old router was that it had limited range which required me to use range extenders in my house. I was able to completely remove the range extenders after installing the AC4000. The install was very easy and the accompanying app is very handy. Also, it reminds me of one of those spider robot things from the movie Runaway (1984) starring Tom Selleck.

Excellent Product

The router's Smart WiFi feature is excellent and saves a lot of headache in explaining to people which WiFi they should connect to in order to maximize speeds. All they do is connect to the single broadcasted SSID and the router handles which frequencies to use.
Got this as an upgrade to a router that could not reliably reach the bedroom and would cause intermittent connection loss while watching TV - not a problem any more. :D

Fast, Easy, and Perfect!

Easiest setup and installation I've ever experienced with a router, it was painstakingly simple and I have never been happier with a Wi-Fi product in my life! The automatic triband distribution for my devices makes it so my Wi-Fi is at lightning speeds all the time! I'd recommend this router to anyone things that they have any kind of WiFi problems in their area, couldn't be happier with their products I'm glad I really got this one!
