Great Product!

Great specs / setup, even a moderately complex setup (customized wifi band settings, port triggering/forwarding, wired AP, etc.), was super easy / it's fast with great wifi coverage / router runs cool / latest firmware has been rock solid. Will definitely be a good router for several years until the AX standard is implemented and available across several devices.

Awesome overall performance

We've tried many different wifi routers, most perform well where they provide signal. The challenge is usually they dont have enough signal strength for our home layout nor enough power to compete with all of the other routers in our neighborhood. This router has performed stellar in overall performance and has had the best coverage of any router we've used to date.

Perfect for the digital home

We needed a replacement after our last router finally passed to the great beyond. This router is perfect and keeps 3 laptops 6 tablets and a desktop running and streaming without a hitch all day without a hiccup to any of our 5 cameras smoke alarms or any of our others connected devices (30 in total). Truly a must for us to get the most out of our gigabyte connection.

Surprisingly Easy set up.

Our prior router died just a few days after moving, I ordered this new router and was able to get it installed and in use within minutes. The new App was very easy to use to change our network name. As far as using the router, everything is connected and working great. No video buffering or concerns at all (which good for a husband and wife team of gamers and work from home).

The perfect thing

I have about 15 connected devices in my home, TVs, phones, laptops, desktops, game consoles. The kids have friends over on the guest network so that's a few more devices. I can work, my wife can browse, my mother-in-law can stream her shows, and the kids can play their games lag free, all at once. This router can certainly handle traffic and the management app is excellent.

Awesomely easy setup

Netgear has taken all the difficulty out replacing an existing cable provider WiFi router. In under 10 minutes my new WiFi network was setup with the same name and password as the old setup. All my devices connected immediately. I am a computer technician by profession and I assumed this process was going to be difficult but it was easy as pie and it would be easy for anyone.

Performs like a beast .

This router took a very slow network out in the country and made it possible to game online and stream video all day. By slow I mean 3-5 mbps.. and gaming is elder scrolls online or Call of duty . Streaming is 4k content to multiple tv's. Buffering time Is slow tho. Only videos are slow at times .
The router is also on 3rd floor reaching all levels perfectly. Amazing product.

Everyone's happy

5 kids, one roof. 2 play games pretty much all day long on the computer and on the ps4. Other three kids stream their shows via Netflix. This doesn't include my wife and I. We also play world of Warcraft and hated it when our internet would be laggy. Finally upgraded our router. Increased the range and speed. Haven't had any issues yet. Will update if anything major happens.
