Awesome router

I have had several routers in the past and this router is by far the easiest to setup. It has an app that is very user friendly and shows you everything that is connected to it. I did a speed test on all three bands. I got 100Mb down on the 2.4 and 200Mb down on both the 5G bands. Overall I would recommend this router to anyone.

Blazing great router

I was a bit skeptical about upgrading my router but this baby is fast, fast, fast. Throughout increased by over 20mb (previous router was also a Netgear), no lags in video or gaming at all. Highly recommended.
But it should be noted that right now the router only supports WWM (which is a subset of QOS) and not the full QOS

This is a powerful and user friendly router. It is virtually plug an play. There is a quick down load to enable easy user interface and controls. The app is easy to use allows instant control to device connectivity, even when outside of the home network. The tri-band WiFi is strong and stable. It is truly worth the investment!

Solid performance

Very capable router that has streamed high bit rate 4k programming along with managing a collection of home automation devices and a Ring system with teens and tweens in the house actively watching YouTube and doing video calls, all simultaneously. Dropped VPN connections are a thing of the past with the exceptionally strong signal.

Good balance of value and speed

I upgraded from a five year old router and the R8000p offered the best balance between cost and features. I appreciated the ease of setup and extra features like port aggregation since I run a NAS box. My WiFi speeds and signal strength have increased noticeably since upgrading. Make sure to always install the latest firmware updates.

Amazing Upgrade

What a difference from my old Linksys router. I never imagined purchasing this new router would make our WiFi so much better. My internet provider promotes their 100Mbps+ download speed and I was lucky to get 17Mbps. With this Netgear router, I am consistently seeing 115Mbps+. My only regret is that I should have purchased this sooner!!

This router is very easy to set up and gives a great signal, both wired and wireless. I have never experienced any signal issues or delays in the internet since getting this router and love that it gives you the 3 different options to connect to; one regular and then two 5G options to connect to. Overall a very good and reliable product.

Great high speed router

Purchased this to replace a few year old AC unit from another manufacturer. I have to say I am quite pleased. From the easy to use GUI to the well designed unit the move has been easy and fast.
Speeds are simply amazing as is the WiFi range. I'm getting full signal over 5ghz where I had trouble with 2.4 previously. MIMO is just amazing.
