Excellent wifi

I have this router paired with the cm700 modem and my speeds have never been quicker. I stream video games to Facebook and my son watches Netflix plus all the phones are connected and I never drop any signal no lag whatsoever. Great router highly recommend it. It passes through 4-5 walls and I still get 100% signal strength

I have installed many routers over my 30+ years working on computers and they all get a little easier to set up as time goes on. This Nighthawk has been the easiest by far. From the set up of the main network to the guest account I enjoyed the ease in which I could maneuver screens. I would recommend this Nighthawk to anyone.

Sick and tired of loading issues? Kiss them goodbye! Comcast routers that you rent are an absolute joke. I can stream 4k content with ease with the Nighthawk! Super easy install with the app. Very happy with my purchase. Oh yeah, forgot to mention how badass the unit looks too! Looks like a stealth fighter. Great job Netgear!

Amazing router!

I get about 250 mbps on my cell phone when I'm in the same room as the router and at least 50 mbps anywhere else in my house. This router is not going to extend range to a farther distance but rather just give you a stable connection anywhere within its range. Proper placement is the most important factor when setting this up.

Major Upgrade Over Previous

I came from a TP-Link Archer modem/router combo. I was able to upgrade my connection speed, through comcast, to 400 mbps. This router has made my life so much easier with three dedicated channels for my house. Gaming, streaming, and Smart devices are now divided nicely into different connections. I highly recommend this device

After much research into tri-band routers and mesh wifi, I decided to purchase the Nighthawk X6S, AC4000, (R8000P). It replaces the cable company supplied router, which had to be supplemented with an extender. My new Nighthawk router gives me full speed (2gHz) throughout my entire home. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Fast, easy, great for gaming

It's been a great router with three bands I can assign lesser devices such as old iPads or kids phones to 2.4 and 5ghz to Xbox pc's or main streaming tv though I honestly use wired connection for those. Keeping my router as centered as possible in my 2800 sq. ft. home the 5ghz network's cover my whole home and then some

I work for a large telecom company, and I have seen this product in many homes. They are usually the larger homes, but this is due to the fact that it's broadcast range is extraordinary!! I loved it the first time I got my hands on one, and am excited to have it in my home now as well. You get what you pay for with this product!
