flawless setup

I have been using another Netgear unit for about 4 years which was the R6200 but it started flaking out. So far this R8000P is giving me INSANELY great WIFI speeds inside the house in any of the rooms. While my internet is only a 300 Mbps line, I can get well over 300 Mbps on wifi finally over the R6200.

Easy setup. Up and running in minutes. I truly appreciate the LED feature which shows the connections as Gigabit (white) or Megabit (amber). This helped with troubleshooting some wiring issues and ensured that all my Gigabit devices were getting gigabit speeds. Excellent Wi-Fi connection and speeds as well.

I have used numerous routers and have had issues with each one. Since purchasing the Netgear Nighthawk I have not encountered any problems. I get full wireless connections throughout my home. Upstairs, downstairs, from end to end and in the backyard. The cost is worth every penny to always be connected.

I used this to replace TP-Link Archer 5400, and I am completely thrilled with the performance so far. On Wifi speeds I was getting 30-35Mbps with a speed test. Once we installed this and I tweeted the bands a bit we get our full 200 Mbps download speeds. Also handy is the VPN server and website blocking!

The best router ever.

Easy installation and setup was a breeze with the Nighthawk app. (It's got its own app, isn't that amazing.) Lightning speed connection all across our devices simultaneously thanks to it's MU-MIMO feature. And it looks really cool, like a stealth jet fighter. We just love our Nighthawk router. Thanks Netgear!

Great router!

I recently upgraded to fiber optic internet and the company gave me a nice router but I had to use a booster still. I picked up the Nighthawk X6S and feel like I'm plugged directly in despite being on wi-fi on the opposite side of the house. I'd definitely recommend for anyone looking to maximize their signal.

Amazing, one simple word! We never had internet in the back of our home, now we have internet on both the front and back porch. Amazing product, so very happy. Easy to set up, and love that I have the option to disconnect any device if bedtime rolls around on a school night :) Thank you, loving your product!!

Definitely getting my WiFi speed

Amazing! I have gig internet. With the Nighthawk I am able to get wireless speeds of up to 485 from the complete opposite side of the house. I get the full gig for my devices that are hardwired to the Nighthawk as well. Makes gaming so much better with such great speeds. I am also pleased with the appearance.
