Great Monitor!

We've tried it with a few different setups in our house: a laptop, a Nintendo Switch, and an Xbox series X, and it worked seamlessly with all of them. The graphics are good, though it seems to be better for lower framerate systems like the switch versus having it connected to the Xbox. The size is great for gaming, watching movies, and even editing photos/videos.
My kids love watching movies on this screen, and prefer using it over their little TV they have. The image quality is great when hooked up to their switch (as seen in the picture while playing their game). They also like connecting the laptop to this via HDMI to view their school on a bigger screen. Unfortunetly, the monitor doesn't have sound, but it was super simple just plugging in our external speakers for sound output.
Overall, for our needs and use, this is a great monitor. The simplicity of it is nice for our kids, and it's easy to set up for anyone, even ones who aren't great with tech.

OLED is Safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about getting an OLED monitor with all of the concerns about burn in, but these concerns have been almost entirely resolved. This monitor features several excellent care features such as pixel shift, logo dimming, and many more that keep your panel and pixels in great shape! With the worries about burn in gone, I can now enjoy the rich, vibrant colors of this QD-OLED display along with the deep blacks and high contrast. I find Samsung's QD version of OLED to be the nicest looking and best colors for my personal preference on looks. I find the 180hz refresh rate to be more than enough since any game that I want to look really pretty won't be past that number of frames anyway. I had a pretty nice monitor before, but the difference in color and contrast on this one is just next level. It really is the time to buy an OLED monitor now that the technology has matured and there isn't as big of a risk of burn in! Well worth the cost for the much better picture and contrast!

Upgrade for my sons gaming desk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tge he Samsung 27" Odyssey OLED G5 Gaming Monitor G50SF is mainly for my son’s gaming setup, and it’s been a great choice. From the first time he turned it on, the difference was obvious. The screen looks incredibly clear, the colors are vibrant, and the blacks are deep, which makes his games feel way more immersive. Even if you’re not super techy, it’s easy to see how much better everything looks.
The 27-inch size is perfect for gaming. It’s big enough to pull you into the game without being overwhelming on a desk. Motion is really smooth, which is huge for fast-paced games, and he immediately noticed how fluid everything felt compared to his old monitor.
As a parent, I also appreciate that it’s comfortable for longer gaming sessions. The screen is easy on the eyes, and everything stays sharp and clear. My son keeps saying how smooth and responsive it feels, which tells me it’s doing exactly what a gaming monitor should do. Overall, it’s been a solid upgrade and totally worth it for his gaming setup.

Samsung’s Best Value OLED Gaming Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung G50SF monitor is great for someone looking to upgrade their gaming monitor to a new OLED panel. This monitor doesn’t have all the high-end features but is definitely more budget-friendly, but still preserves the best part of this line of monitors: the premier QD-OLED panel. It's plastic stand and trim is made of plastic instead of metal and the refresh rate is limited to 180 Hz, but Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync are supported. Peak brightness is lower than other models at 200 nits vs 300 nits in top of the line models, but in real-world use the difference is hardly noticeable. The monitor still has the same 3-year Samsung warranty that includes screen burn-in. Ultimately, this is a perfect budget-oriented OLED monitor that looks great and offers the best bang for your buck as Samsung’s best value OLED gaming monitor.

Makes editing amazing!

Upgrade for my husband

The size is perfect for the gaming we do and the image quality is great. The 180hz refresh rate is more than enough for all the gaming he does as well. The colors on this monitor are really top tier. You can really see the contrast in the vibrant colors and dark black. Definitely worth the price and highly recommended!
