[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get started!, this Singer machine is easy to operate both in a sewing capacity and embrodering. easy to follow instructions as well as uploads for embrodery. I literally use it everyday and have been creating the cutiest items in preparation of Christmas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I and a novice sewer but the singer sewing machine is one that is food proof. I was about to not only sex but embroider different designs. it has pre=programed deigns and you can set up more thru wifi and a pc. it was so easy to use.

Quite honestly so disappointed. I read the reviews prior to buying, but I thought the negative reviews were a result of not learning the machine. Upon purchase, I bought a course to teach me this machine, and I can say confidently this machine is not good! There are numerous tension issues- within the first embroidery try, I had to take apart my machine and adjust the tension of the bobbin case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I need patience with this thing, it’s frustrating

I own 2 embroidery, 2 heavy duty and my work horse 9960 Singer sewing machines. I wanted to love this machine. I purchased it because of the small footprint, the sleek design, and several of the options it has. Unfortunately I am not happy with this machine. The tension problems, bad stitches, and cluttered interface makes for a very unpleasant sewing experience. Although I’m going to keep working with it. Hopefully, it’s not a lemon and I can figure out the correct combination of buttons to push and get this thing to sew properly.

Singer is the sewing standard

I used my mothers singer sewing machine here and there but the Singer SE9180 Sewing and Embroidery Machine blows anything I have touch out of the water. The setup was incredibly easy. The 6.5” sewing space gives you plenty of room to work. The thing that takes the Singer 9180 machine to the next level is the embroidery features, available designs and the ability to create your own with the mySewney software. I also really appreciate the 7” color touch screen panel. I am just scratching the surface of possibilities with this machine and although I am sure I will still be fixing buttons with this machine like I did with my mom’s, I know I will be creating so much more. This machine is for beginners and experts alike.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me suggest if you buy this, download the manual from the singer website, as it does not come with one. It does come with picture instructions on how to thread the machine, but you will need the manual to learn all the bells and whistles. I’m a beginner, but I’m excited to learn! I love the embroidery function on this machine! As soon as I add the attachment, the screen switches to the embroidery pattern list for me to choose from 150 designs! I also like that I can choose custom patterns from the program connected to the machine. It comes with a three month trial so you get to try it before committing to paying anything monthly. The machine is a little heavy, but attaching and detaching the embroidery shelf is easy. It comes with the foot pedal and the power cord and a built in light to make seeing what you’re sewing easier. There are many stitch patterns to choose from depending on what you’re making you’re sure to find one that fits your needs! The screen is touch screen also and is pretty sensitive to touch, but you can put up a screen saver while working so you don’t accidentally hit anything. I feel like this is an advanced machine for sure so it can seem a bit intimidating at first, but with practice and persistence, it can be mastered. I definitely recommend it!

This machine features touch screen technology, which allows me to be even more creative with my projects. It is also WIFI enabled so that I can access different designs. The instructions make it easy to use.

Incredible Machine

The touch screen is fantastic; it's a massive improvement from my previous machine. This is my first embroidery machine, and now I can't imagine life without it. The mySewnet trial has been incredibly handy, allowing me to customize my designs, and I've already started working on personalized Christmas gifts. The automatic needle threader is a huge time-saver! This is an incredible machine and it's really incredible to see how far sewing technology has come!
