Excellent machine for my quilting and crafting and didnt break the bank. Love the many choices in decorative stitches and lettering. Machine is in use for various hours daily and have had no problems at all. Love it and would purchase again

Great Machine

I've been very pleased so far! I needed something a little heavier for some home projects and husband's clothing repairs. I've tried nearly every stitch with not one issue. It doesn't seem to have a "happy spot" for heavy duty threads, at least not that I've found yet, that is really the only disappointment and I'm still hoping to find the right tension, needled thread combo to make it work. It's very simple to use and extremely smooth, i've also used it for free style quilting and because it's so smooth, it's very easy to use!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What Would Make This HD Perfect

Add a more powerful motor. Add an additional light over the bed. Add the touch screen from the Quantum Stylist Touch (9985). Add a knee lifter. And make it in more colors (including the extension table). I think it would sell, sell, sell, and become a modern classic.

Broke after 10 months of use!

I'm shocked that this machine broke down so quickly considering I didn't use it much as I have another machine. I specifically bought one of the most expensive sewing machines so that it would be of high quality, but only 10 months passed and it broke. When I was sewing tulle, our machine just stopped, made a strange and loud sound and stopped working! I am a designer, I sew wedding dresses and the machine is very important for me! As a result, I can’t return it to the store, I don’t have a guarantee ... the repair costs like a whole machine !!! Seriously ?! I really want to return this machine back and not pay for its repair! In less than a year this machine broke down!(Just as a fact, I have the cheapest sewing machine which is 7 years old, and so it never broke down!)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my absolute favorite machine. I have a Juki which is very good but I still prefer the Singer 6800C. It’s much easier to operate and has every feature you could want. Love, love, love it. I just purchased another as an emergency backup. Well worth the price!!!

Absolutely amazing.

A while back, I decided I should stop using my parents machine and purchase one of my own. I got a Singer M2100, and I will not lie- it was absolute garbage. It jammed every few stitches, could barely make it through a single layer of fleece, and the Handwheel didn’t work. So I returned it and got a new one of the same model, but it had the same issues. I returned it and saved up before buying this machine- and I will not lie, it’s a dream come true. The pedal is so easy to use, and this machine glides through whatever I sew with it, whether it be minky, fleece, or faux fur. It was so easy to set up and use, and in the entire time I’ve been using it it has jammed once right out of the box due to it coming threaded poorly. I easily fixed the jam however, and love this machine and am excited to use it in the future.
