Changed the needle to denim needle and sewing canvas super easy. Fonts are not that great but it’ll do. Easy to thread and good machine.. Manual is not very helpful to me

Decent machine, very inconsistent.

It is a decent machine especially with all the stitch settings allowing for many different options to be used like the overcast stitch. However, this machine is very inconsistent since the bobbin is plastic and almost every time I sew I have to constantly test the stitches for about 10-20 minutes which is not the case for machines with metal bobbins and adjustable bobbin cases. Also, if you lose the foot pedal, you are done for as singer does not provide any replacements on the sight. I’ve bought the one they offer on the site and it turned out not being compatible with my machine even though they had the same input. Overall, if you’re one who sees a variety of projects, get a different machine. If you do simple things like intricate designs, this machine is good. If you’re a beginner, get a machine with a metal bobbin case, the brand should not matter as those are more effective and consistent in general.
Would be 5 but owner manual. If you want one you have to except cookies, why. I just want l /need a sewing, if i want more ill fix the web site again.

Good Machine but Foot Control Issues

I really liked this machine! It was easy to use and the automatic thread snip + tie off features were great for me. I’ve only had the machine for a few months when the foot control stopped working. It would work here and there but then stopped. Seems like the socket is loose and messing with the connection. I thought, oh well I’ll just take it in for service under warranty since it’s 4 months old. I was wrong, the warranty is not so hassle free as advertised. You have to find a dealer & jump through hoops to prove purchase. I’m new to sewing and this was very sad for me so now I’m looking for a new machine because most repair shops charge 125+ even for a simple fix and have crazy long repair times. If this would have happened after a few years of owning, u would highly recommend this machine but since it is so new, I fear it’s an indication of machine quality lacking.
Lower quality than I was expecting. The machine is terrible with buttonholes and basting. I've had to rip out multiple attempts at buttonholes, and the machine simply gets stuck when I try to base. It was a fairly inexpensive machine, and I guess that's what I ended up with.

The machine brand new out of the box. It will only sew in reverse I called, and because it had been so long since I opened the box there was nothing they could do, but literally the first time I tried to use it. It only runs in reverse.
