Powerful machine, great for jeans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I'm a novice at sewing, but I'm also needing to hem or fix jeans, reattach buttons, fix tears in clothes and jackets all the time. I also sometimes sew logo patches on to shirts and jackets. I finally made the decision to invest in a SINGER and I decided to go with the heavy duty one and do not regret it! My husband is a mechanic and is hard on clothes and in some of the bigger tears or rips, we've just thrown jeans away, so I'm so excited to save more pairs of jeans and not feel so wasteful. While a novice, I have some very experienced people in my life that have helped me get this set up and gave me a refresher on how to use. They were really impressed with the machine and love that it came with the extension table - especially when you're working with jeans, the extra space is great! They also mentioned that it's got a great starter kit with all of the accessories, especially with the extra needles and seam ripper. The speed is impressive and it effortlessly sews up jeans and other heavy duty materials. It feeds smoothly (I'm still getting used to the foot peddle) but I haven't had any problems so far!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great sewing machine! I love that it handles thicker materials such as denim canvas and even vinyl seats I covered for the boats! It had a great assortment of accessories that was included with it ... My favorite was the extension table! I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to do more heavy duty projects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sewing machine by Singer!! I am new at all this sewing stuff, but this sewing machine is so easy and simple to use. It was easy to set up. The instructions make it simple to begin sewing even if its your first time. Theres so many sewing stitches to use. Ive had no issues with any of the materials ive used so far. It handles some heavy material. Im enjoying this machine for sure. Well worth the money.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Singer Mechanical Heavy Duty Sewing Machine is a work horse! I have sewn canvas, denim,fleece, etc and it hasn’t given me a minutes trouble. With the proper needles for the job I’m doing I don’t see this thing ever letting me down! A lot of power packed into a small package. I love it!!!

Does everything I need and more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this primarily for fixing my jeans, shorts, dog toys and dog beds. The dog stuff is easy enough since the material isn't very thick but the shorts and jeans really put my old machine to work having to go through several layers. It wasnt fun or easy at all. But now, I'll do jeans all day! This machine glides through several layers of thick material like its warm butter! I'm beyond impressed! I've already hemmed up several shorts that ripped along the knees, patched some jeans and replaced I dont even know how many broken zippers that my last machine couldn't do. I love this machine and I cant believe I'm this excited about patching up old clothes and fixing ripped dog toys. I highly recommend this machine, you wont regret it.

perfect sewing machine

The brand equals quality and this model lived up to the high expectations we had. It it solid! and it is a work horse! I mainly got it so it could go through several layers of fabric and it does it without any issues, no more needles getting broken.

Sturdy quality

Now, it’s not a small compact machine or anything, just that it fits well on a craft table and easy to store away, small. It’s very easy to set up and to operate. I love all the different stitch options and the ease of switching between them. The dial is very handy.
