Great Beginner/Intermediate Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is an excellent beginner to intermediate machine! You get 140+ stitches to choose from, many of which are great for quilting while some of them are good for buttonholes, etc. The storage compartment is large enough to store extra bobbins, the machine tools, and maybe a small pair of sewing scissors. The machine is a little on the bulky side, but I prefer it because it does not slide or move when sewing using the highest speed setting. It provides more stability for projects. I really like this machine for beginner quilting because it has just enough to start but not enough to be overwhelming. It also comes with all the tools needed to clean and make basic repairs. It's very easy to follow the steps to put the thread in and to wind the bobbins. I think this would be perfect for the new to sewing or those who want to dabble in quilting without going full speed ahead. Also, it does have the parts needed to hem pants, but I have found small pants are tough and extra large legs are difficult to move around easily. Not a negative, but not something I would purchase just for the hemming aspect.

Great Machine

I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself as well as always looking for new hobbies and things to do. I was so excited to get the Singer Computerized machine.
This is actually my second sewing machine from Singer and I love it already. I was able to get my first sewing machine and started to play around with different things and now I use it every week. I wanted a second machine for different projects so I did not have to reset what I was using on my first machine. This machine is exactly what I needed.
I feel this is a great machine for anyone who may be new to sewing or someone who has been sewing for some time. It is easy to use once you start playing around with it. I like how when you select a stitch, it matches the size for you so you do not have any guess work. This was important to someone who is still learning. It actually has 180 different stitch applications which allows me even more time to play around and see what works for me and what I want to use when creating.
Overall, this is a great machine!

Compact and perfect!

I found a rip in my new dress and instead of driving all the way to the store to return, I was able to whip out my sewing machine and fit it myself! I was very proud of myself! It was perfect for a beginner! Very pleased 10 out of 10!

It has so many options and different stiches that are extremely easy to program. It is a great size and is easy to store away when I am not using it. It will take me a bit to practice and get things looking great but I'm so excited to be able to make my puppy custom bandanas!

The Singer Quality You Would Expect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been Singer sewing machine user for decades. I've always been impressed with the durability and longevity of the brand. I've used Singer sewing machines for basic everyday tasks, from hemming the bottoms of pants to putting on buttons, as well as more complex tasks, such as making my own pants. When I got the Singer 6180 Brilliance, I was a bit hesitant that is may not be as easy to use or as durable. That said, my experience so far has been great. While it took a bit to get used to the LCD screen and settings, once I did everything became quite intuitive. So far I've fixed a few buttons on my kids shorts and hemmed up a few pairs of pants that were few inches too long. For these tasks, the machine was easy to use and the results look great. Only time will tell if this machine will last as long as the Singer classics. That said, so far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Singer 6180 Brilliance Computerized Sewing Machine can do so much. I have never used a sewing machine before- so I am learning as I go. So far, I have used it to fix a few holes in socks, I repaired a camping chair stitch, and I have cut a pair of jeans and turned them into crops. As a beginner, it is very easy to use and operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a quilter so options in stitching is a must for me! It’s super easy to set up. I am able to easily see different thickness which is great! I have not had any issues with the needle bending and the tension is just right. Compared to other machines, this one runs very quietly, which is very nice. It’s fairly lightweight so it’s easy to move and store. All around great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this sewing machine! It’s easy to setup out of the box! It’s super lightweight which is great! I love all of the stitching options! It’s made it gap creative for me in making my kids clothes and blankets! The tension is perfect and I have yet to have the needle break in thicker fabrics. The LCD screen is super easy to learn and lets your customize everything! This is a great addition for any seamstress!
