A great build. It was a great addition to my family's family room shelf. I love the gum under the seat and the can.There was also a different newspaper.I can still say that a Lego Creator Expert set has never disappointed me.I highly recommend this set.

I love building creator expert Legos such as the Taj Mahal and the London bus even though I’m only 10 I can still build them . This Lego set is very very detailed I really like the spiral staircase and the used tickets , I really liked the top level .

Best set ever (MUST BUY)

If you like London buses and Lego then this set is for you, this set may be hard at times but if you take your time and have patience you can get it done. I got this set for Christmas last year and took me a few days to do each section with the bricks but after completion this bus is something to really look at as it has alot of details! I would like to mention that as part of the set there is pink bricks referencing chewing gum to be placed under the seats which too much detailed! Also to say you NEED to take your time with this set as you may end up placing wrong bricks in wrong places as it is complicated and which is never a good idea! After completing the set you can also carefully remove parts of the bus to explore the interior of the bus! Overall this set has to be the best ever and is worth how much it may cost!

This is actually only the second LEGO set I have built. I always loved 3-D puzzles but it wasn’t until I bought my grandson the 20th ninjago LEGO set that I thought this would be fun for me. So glad to find a theme of interest.
My advice to older newbies like me, is start with something simple. I did not do this. I bought the LEGO VW camper first. And I was baffled by the bags of pieces and the directions. When I asked my great-nephew for help, he took the project over. Never let a kid get a hand on your LEGO set or you will lose it! So I bought a little robot and learned the LEGO language. Then I got the London bus for my birthday and it was totally fun to do.
I am totally hooked. I would love to know how the company puts these sets together.
Now I always wanted to build a glue and wood model as a kid. But I couldn’t get excited about planes and cars. London bus was an exciting theme. My wish is for a LEGO giraffe or an elephant. Don’t know if that can be done with legos.
But don’t hesitate to get one of these sets. It is really an entertaining project and well worth the money.

Powerful, Majestic

When I saw the preview for this set I knew I had to have it. I went to my local Lego store on the day of release and picked it up. The build is a challenge for newbies (I had a friend help me build it) and I had to go back and fix her work many times. It made for great 5 to 6 hours of build time total as we took our time on it. The end result is an extremely impressive model. I thought the VW T1 Camper was big but this one towers it. There are not a ton of little details inside but the space is much larger so there is room to add into if need be. I've actually added The Beatles to mine from the Yellow Submarine set. Just seems more fitting to me. :) Outstanding set, the build time alone is worth the cost.

All Aboard... Bus to brick central

As soon as I saw this model I knew I had to have it in my collection and it has not disappointed.
Build time is roughly 6 hours (3-4 sessions of 1.5hours each) I built this over a period of a few days.
Very good level of detail, including stickers of the seats to show a little wear/dirt. plenty of stickers (though I do question why these were not just printed direct onto the signs)
The area around the driver is a little fiddly, but generally good fun.
The top deck is designed to be removed, which makes it a little fragile during the building process, but it is solid once built. I've found it does not connect snugly as its only connected via a few dots. Likewise the roof comes off very easily and so does not connect quite as snuggly as you might hope.

Down side, there are no passengers included, not even a driver (which you would expect) however I will be displaying it with Lester so its not the end of the world.
The only other slightly awkward item is the wing mirrors, they could do with sitting a little lower, but I'm going to see whether I can modify it to drop those down slightly.
Please Lego, add some figures and this set would go from excellent to downright amazing!
