Looks Like The Real Thing!

This set has amazing amount of detail! An example is there is chewing gum under one of the seats on the second story that you can even see. It has a lot of real details like the real life bus. This is the older version from the 70's and it looks great. This set is actually quiet heavy when picking up. One of the coolest features is that you can change the signs to make it from different decades. You can also open up the engine. The wheels on the set are great and can support the weight of the bus. You can fit a lot of mini figures in to the bus and it has some good play experience. Only if the set came with a couple mini figures like royal guards or a bus driver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great Lego set of the iconic red london double decker bus, it was quite easy to follow to build, nice features inside the bus also, nice touch for the bonnet to open to see the engine, would like to see mini figures for the bus e.g driver and conductor.

London bus

I actually bought this for my wife, who loves London buses, but doesn't build Lego, so as I'm the Lego fan I built it. A relatively easy build, with the many seats inevitably slightly repetitive, but the finished article is worth the effort and very realistic when compared to the real thing, which we have travelled on many times. It looks great and my wife is thrilled with it and shows it off to all her friends, who all admire it. Certainly a brilliant collector's piece, but I do wonder how robust it would be for children playing with it. I have populated the model with some Lego figures, consisting of a driver a conductor and a few passengers. This would be my one minor criticism, in that a few figures with the set would have been good. But having said that, it's well worth the money and I would highly recommend it.

Its a beautiful model ,that is fun to build too! The only boring is to build the seats(many seats...) The building is easy, but i hate stickers! As a finish model its look good, and you can have it on display in your living room:-) I do a face lift of the front, and ad some smaler headligth ++ I think the orginal ligths was to big..

Worth every penny. Most were easy just the odd difficult part . Lots of fun to build looks good on display but wont be very easy to get out and play with. My 12 year old daughter helped build this and she found this quite easy

Amazing set

This was a very cool set. I loved all the attention to detail and little surprises like the bubble gum. Building was pretty fast, a lot of repetition with the seats which made building fast. The ability to change the signs and plates to change the time era is really cool. Also for displaying the wheels don't move super freely so it sits well.

Decent build but a couple of gripes

The build itself was straight forward.
Details:
I was a bit unhappy with the sticker applied to the upper-front windscreen. It's a thin, red line and, with no straight edges to use as reference, it nearly impossible to apply squarely.
The pole in the entryway is flexible to allow some of the small bits (i.e. tickets and umbrella) to be removed. But the flexing required to do so is pretty severe and the bending appears to stick around, leaving the pole looking bendy permanently.
General Build: Build appeared very solid until the last couple steps. The two front corners tend to pop off unless the removable roof is reattached with great care. Also, the rear-view mirrors fall off with the slightest touch. Even the vibration from rolling the bus along the floor will cause the mirrors to detach.
