This set is superb ... I’ve put 5 days for the build, but you can build this in less time or more. I’m building the Bus with my 5 year old Grandson and he just loves this model as much as me. It has given me an opportunity to talk to him about engines and what goes in them ... to identify the petrol cap and steps for the driver to climb into his cab and all sorts of ideas. We usually build Space theme, so this is a change for both of us.
I’ve detailed the insides with lots of people - affixed with Tacky Wax - and a Driver and Conductor ... shame there isn’t a complimentary set of the latter included or available to buy.
Well done Lego ... can we have an open topped Bus in the same scale ... now seen in tourist spots all over the world

Best. Birthday. Ever

This was my first Creator set. I saw it in the shop and knew that I had to have it. My other half sorted that out and BOOM, birthday gift sorted! I loved that it was broken down into a 4 part build but I made a booboo on the signs on the bus as I attached the stickers all at once and consequently some of them are upside down (I didn't follow the instructions like I should have done because I'm "smart"). Love the attention to detail inside and out. I have since disassembled this into 4 distinct bags and am ready to reassemble at my leisure. It's almost as satisfying taking it apart as it is building it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought it for my 7yo son and he absolutely love it. It was a small challenge to him but he having a great time with it. Lots of fun with building and after. Highly recommended to every Lego lovers

Finally the last vehicle for my Creator Expert Collection!
Pros: Great price, nice pieces, fun build, very organized.
Cons: Seat building part can get repetitive. It can't steer!

Overall, a very good set, but not the best.

First time in 30 years

My wife bought me the London bus and the home alone house for Christmas, I haven’t built Lego in about 30 years, I enjoyed building this bus, back when I was a kid Lego came in one bag and you had to separate the pieces, I like how the bags are numbered, makes it less stressful when looking for that 1 little piece, I would recommend this set for any skilled level builder.

This is my most expensive/biggest Lego purchase (so far) and it's safe to say that I am definitely not disappointed! I've had my eye on this for a while and I was so excited to get it.
The build was a lot of fun. A reasonably challenging build partly because it was a bit difficult at times to find the piece I needed amidst the vastness of red! But even so, it was a very interesting build which resulted in my dad joining me and being as captivated as myself! It was especially interesting to see how the whole thing evolved as I got further into the instructions. Every time I build a Lego set I love experiencing new building techniques that force you to pick up the model, twist it around and say"wow" with a giant smile on your face. This set did that plenty of times.
The end product is beautiful. The shaping of the entire thing is great especially the rear of the bus with the straight back curving into the roof. My favourite area is the boarding area with the used tickets box, umbrella stand and spiral staircase. I also love the sliding window in the cab, the seats and the details on the upper deck such as the newspaper, drinks can and chewing gum under the seat (also the two tickets in the used ticket box). The way the roof and upper deck lifts off is brilliant and it fits back on very nicely. There are a lot of stickers but once applied they look fantastic. The Lego puns they added on the destination boards are brilliant! :D Putting minifigures in is a lot of fun and it looks awesome!
Overall, I think I can safely say that this is my favourite set that I own and I would recommend it to anyone! It is simply beautiful.

Great Value and Details

I really loved the details in this set. My favorite bits are the cleverly built spiral staircase and the single pink stud representing gum somebody stuck under a seat.
This is a fun build, too. The only repetitive part is putting together the individual seats, but they don't take long and can easily be made assembly-line style.
I would recommend this to a friend!
