Well planned by Lego Designers

This build, although not to mini-fig scale, was well thought out by the planners. The various tiles and rounded bricks make this a great final product with very little brick studs showing. When finished, it is a solid build, and a good display piece. Not as much of a play item. Some printed tiles for the smaller stickers would make this set even better.

Great fun in the details

This is a great build because of the all the little details. I love the tickets that actually fit in the ticket box. The pink single dot Lego used as a piece of gum under one of the seats is the kind of detail I really appreciated when building it. The worn seat stickers are a nice touch too. Be careful when placing the stickers as they only give you one of each!

The wheels on the bus

This is a great piece! It was my first vehicle that wasn’t either from speed champs or city and I really enjoyed it.
The bus looks great and is pretty big when complete. It’s pretty much dead on scale to fit mini figs too...but I’m gonna need to modify some of the seats and floor pieces to reveal some studs. It’s sturdy enough that most kids can play without causing too much damage.
I had so much fun with this I went out and bought the two Volkswagen sets: Bug and camper, right after I finished it. I’m gonna grab that mustang too. And any other creator expert vehicles I can find.

London’s Calling!!

I was born and raised in London so I had to have this to go along with my other “London” themed Lego sets.
This was a fun build and was well thought out by the creators. I loved the soda can, torn seats and the gum underneath the seat!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it! The Detail is Amazing!

This is my second Lego kit (I am a late starter). I find the kits focus me and this one was amazing. The detail in it - adjustable rear view mirrors, the drivers side window that slides open and closed, the fire extinguisher and the umbrella stand to name just a few - amazing! I had the same problem as one of the other reviewers with dark gray, gray, black in the instructions but it was in a place that is not visible so I am doing my best to just "let it go". I even use the pdf instructions on my laptop so that I can zoom in and I am not sure how I made the error, but it is okay. Only I (and you readers now) know. I am surprised it did not come with a little driver and a couple passengers. I will add some from other purchases. Overall, if you can get this, it is wonderful and helps to feed my need to be around British things!

Looks Good But is Pretty Much A Display Model

This set mostly looks good and is definitely very recognizable, But I think it needs some more playability and a bit more interesting of a build. Really its only features are a removable second decker and roof, a sliding driver's windowpane opening hood revealing a not very detailed engine, and turning wheels the are quite hard to pull into a turn. It also seems like the build is repetitive and dull. I mean, who wants to build 30 identical seats? On the up side, It seems very detailed for it's scale and looks good everywhere but the front end. The front end is a lumpy, wrong-sized disaster. Other than that, it looks great (extra points for the "High tea requires quality biscuits" ads on the side with pictures of lego Oreos)! If you are looking for a good display model, then this is the set for you.
