There is a definite difference in the taste of the water, and the rotating lights are a nice touch reflecting the activity of the filters. Reliability over time to be determined, but initial impressions are very favorable.

The only issue was the new alkaline filter, which gave the water a weird, undrinkable taste at first. We had to flush the tank 12–15 times before it cleared up. The number of flushes will vary depending on your setup, but the foul smell and taste do fade. Don’t rely on the manual - do your own runs until it tastes right. The end result is exactly what we invested in, and it meets our expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy set up and use. Looks great on my counter top. The sliding tray accessory is not an accessory but a must have. Water tastes great! Good to know i am drinking safer water. I don't like that the water is stored in plastic.

Pure, crisp water without the plumbing hassle!

I wanted high-quality, purified water for my family but hated the idea of drilling or dealing with messy under-sink plumbing. The AquaTru Classic looks so sleek and minimalist and setting it up was incredibly easy, you just literally plug it in. The water tastes amazing clean and crisp, completely outperforming standard filter pitchers. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing it filters out microplastics and heavy metals. Highly recommend!
