Glad I bought this!

Hello everyone! I live in McKinney, Texas, and the smell of chlorine in our tap water was becoming overwhelming, especially when I turned on the bath shower. One day, I said to myself, enough! I bought AquaTru, (after looking at reviews on YouTube and seeing Erin's recommendation), through Ocean Robbins website and have been using it now for a few months. I do have to tell you that I had to let the water filter through 9 times before I started loving the taste of the water. I make ice cubes every other day and keep extra AquaTru water stored in my fridge. I like my water cold. The AquaTru sits conveniently on my kitchen counter and is easy to use. Happy with this purchase.

We use it constantly. after using it awhile I became very sensitive to the smell of water directly out of the tap and noticed that smell was gone after filtering in the Aqua Tru. Now I use the filtered water for brushing my teeth too. The only thing that comes to mind about improving it would be that it doesn't hold enough water and I do spend a lot of time refilling and rinsing it out. Also at first I added water to the tank without throwing out the leftover water. So it appears we need to remember that adding fresh water to the tank needs to happen after throwing out the old water left in the tank.

It is small and quiet and fits nicely on the counter. The list of bugs and bacteria it covers is awesome. The water tastes great. The one complaint I have is that the holding tank is small; I find myself refilling it at least twice a day, because I drink a lot of water and cook with it too.

I waited a long time for a counter top solution to reverse osmosis water filtration and it was worth the wait. Aqua True is perfect for my daily water consumption needs.

Wasted water

I love the water system and quality of water; however, I do not like the fact water sits in the tap water tank and does not get filtered. I’m constantly dumping that water and refreshing it to get filtered water again once that tank runs low.

Great Way to Have Reverse Osmosis Water on the Go!

This is a hard-working machine that gives me RO water when I travel. In between trips, I keep it in my bathroom on a table so I can have RO water when I brush my teeth. I will say that it's a little bit challenging to figure out how to pack it because of the specifications airlines have for baggage, but I think I've figured out how best to pack it. I first packed it in my checked baggage, but I would advise against that, because it looked like TSA had roughed it up a bit. I'm going to try putting at least the motor portion in my carryon during an upcoming trip. You do have to be very careful to place the tap water tank exactly right or it will not work.

Good Solution For Great Water!

Where we live, there are a lot of of minerals in the water. I use the equal vinegar and warm water one hour soak weekly to remove the minerals in the input vessel. It would be nice to pay less for the unit, but the value of not having my husband under the kitchen cabinet for an hour hooking it up is worth it. I am also willing to give up counter space in a mobile home. I am a newer customer, so I don't have any follow up customer service issues to report on. The water tastes great. We cook with it, make ice cubes with it, and drink it. We will continue to use it now and in the future. We also bought one for our pregnant daughter and her family.

Pros: Taste of the water is great! Purifying process is fast. Cons: Awkward design. Blue spout button drips even after you release it. Tip: Helps to keep the unit next to a faucet the has an extension so you can easily fill it with water.
