love the convenience of standing on my counter

Love having it for a quick drink of refreshing water. Wish it could hold a bit more. It's easy to fill and clean. I feel the filters are a bit expensive, however, I've seen worse prices for an osmosis system. Just changed filter 2/3 for the 6 months. Did not understand the reset button on back as stated in directions. There is only the on/off switch on mine, so why didn't it say to turn the on/off switch for 3 seconds to reboot the filters? However, I enjoy my Aqua Tru and hope it does not get faulty.

Everything it claims to be and more

I’ve had my unit over two years and wouldn’t be without it. I love knowing I’m doing something for my health, not buying bottled water any more and love, love the wonderful clean taste. I’ve purchased the water filters for both my grown children and their families. They love theirs as much as I love mine. Great work Aquatru!!

Good and not so good

The good: it’s great to have a product that uses excellent technology to purify water of all the toxins. The NOT so great: the containers are plastic. This is not good as it’s equally important to rid our lives/bodies/world of plastics. Also, I find that if I have something smelly in my Refrigerator the water in the AquTru pitcher also in my refrigerator gets smelly. The pitcher has the cover on it. So how is the water picking up the smell?

Very easy to set up and use. My husband said the water felt/tasted "lighter". Love that there is zero chemical smell/taste from water. Price is prohibitive for a lot of folks I think. This was my Christmas present.

Perfect for renters! No Installation

I found it very easy to set up and start using, the water tastes great and the only drawback i see is how much water i throw away! I know my reverse osmosis filter wasted water too, i just wish i didn't have to keep tossing it. I don't have a yard, and only one indoor plant, so nothing else to do with it!

We have not had any issues with our aqua tru water filter in the 2 years we have had it. The water tastes good and that is pretty much what we want. Good tasting water with the bad stuff filtered out.

Leaks can be problematic.

Individual filters can have persistent leaks which result in daily puddles on your counter. My neighborhood looses electricity briefly at least twice a year. Because of the interruption of power, my AquaTru does not track usage, and does not indicate when the filters need to be replaced. This really should be mentioned in the owner’s manual. Now I mark my calendar with the date of recommended replacement.
