Decent earbud undercut by flawed connection method

These earbuds work as intended, and I would be otherwise satisfied if not for a glaring design flaw. Namely, the only method to connect the earbuds is to place them inside the charging case and remove them. Unlike other Bluetooth earbuds, even some models sold by JLab, there is no method to reconnect the earbuds from the earbud itself. Instead, you are required to carry the case on you at all times, and if you remove the earbuds--even for a few minutes--you must place them both back inside the case and remove them again to reconnect. If you forget to bring the case, then the earbuds are useless--even at full charge--until you have it again.
This thoughtless design defeats the convenience of a wireless earbud since you must carry the charger everywhere, which is impractical when exercising or if your pocket space is limited. For this reason I would not recommend these earbuds to anyone when better alternatives exist.

Great quality except for….if you get disconnected for any reason and not near the charging case….you CAN NOT turn them back without the case. Big rising flaw!

They are dependent upon the case once they have timed out. The only saving grace is that the case sizes have shrunken considerably, so they are not so cumbersome. Wait until you see the size of the units coming up later this year.

Need the case to pair them - Extremely annoying

If your earbuds exit pairing mode, they can only be put back into pairing mode by putting them in the case and taking them back out - even if the battery is full. So if you don't have the case with you, your earbuds will become useless as soon as they turn off. Super super annoying and easy to end up stuck with no earphones if you forget the case or don't feel like lugging it around.

Great sound but...

i have bought two pairs of these in the past year, wear them every day. Same ear and the same piece have broken, the ear part brakes off.
I want to buy another pair but just dont want the same pair to do it again.

I walk about 2 miles everyday and I need the kind that have the attachment that fits over my ear. I've tried other brands of ear buds and in my opinion J Labs make the best ones
