I enjoy the PRS100 but there isn't enough information on how to attach the hat hoop to the machine or how to put the hat on the hoop. I had to go to Utube and find videos and figure it out. Also the area #6 could use a lighter color or a small light so you can see dark threads going through the hole.
Probably should not have purchased this machine for my first embroidery machine. Have not been able to get enough hands on education for me to do very many projects.
This is the second brother embroidery machine I have purchased. The brother PRS100 is by far a superior quality. My machine runs 6-8 hours almost everyday and this machine holds up beautifully. It is precise, user friendly and fun to sew with. I couldn't be happier with my PRS100. Great value, quality machine that will keep you sewing strong.
I've had my Persona 100 for 2 months, have done a few projects and the results were good. What I'm not happy with is the hat hoop, got absolutely NO directions on how to use it, finally found a PDF manual on the Brother site, after searching and searching. Not a well written document either, as it is hard to refer to the machine manual for direction - there is NO directions in the machine user manual on how to attach the hat hoop to the driver, there are a couple of drawings but they are of no help to me. I've looked at a few Utube videos, and they helped a little. Very disappointed in Brother for not providing better information on this hoop. The other hoops are ok, but not having used them all I can't say if I like them or not. Wish I lived closer to my dealer, I could go in for help, but I don't so I will just struggle on with this.
I love this machine it makes embroidering totes super simple which is part of why I chose it over the other machines I looked at with this being my first machine it looked more user friendly. The only disappointment I feel that leads me to want to upgrade so soon is the small embroidery field 8x8 is advertised for this machine as being large but most in the hoop projects require at least a 6x10 space so I can't do a lot of things I want with this machine.
