Could have been the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the design is good, it give's a classic vibe. The camera? It is also good, no complain on that! But here is a catch! It could have been best. Look, exynos 2200 chipset is not so good in terms of prossing a picture compare to this price, again it lags behind in compare to 8+gen 1 chipset. But again 8+gen 1 is definitely behind to 8 + gen 2! Right? In this pricepoint samsung should give 8+gen 2. And stop using the exynos 2200. Like come on! Its a Fan Edition and trust me no fan would like to buy that 2200 chipset! It's boring, lags in performance, moreover it has heating issue. So the heavy tasks like playing hardcore games, or doing rough works are making the phone too hot and throttle issue starts to say 'Hello world'!
If the phone were in 8+gen2 chipset, it would easily get 5 out of 5 rating without any question!

Mostly a fantastic phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the S23FE (SD 8gen1 ver.) for a few weeks now and I think I've gotten used to it as it has me and my usage. For the most part, it's a great phone. I upgraded from the S20 5G mostly for the flat screen, but also for One UI 6. I do miss having an SD card slot but I'll eventually get a NAS box since it seems Samsung makes connecting the phone to that pretty simple.
Pros of the S23FE:
- Beautiful big-enough screen and display (go team flat screen!) Also nice back color
- nice cameras
- can run games pretty well for the most part, I play emulated games and the phone runs them great.
- battery lasts a long time for me, even when gaming
- for me, the phone hasn't gotten hot yet. I know thermal management is an issue with this phone but I haven't run into it

Cons:
- there is a sliiight lag sometimes when scrolling in adaptive mode, also when playing FGO there's been stutters here and there. Not sure why.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is super responsive and snappy. It just updated to U.I 6 which I'm also loving. Plays all the games I have downloaded with no lag or latency issues. Couldn't be happier with my Samsung S23 FE.

Fantastic build for daily driver ; Iffy specs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone is fantastic as a daily driver, it has a excellent build, even if I'm not a fan of back glass, it feels sturdy and has a nice heft to it. The camera is more recessed and less buldging as each phone passes - it looks more natural. The screen is pretty great, 1080p is really all you need on a phone, and the vibrancy of the display, along with the 120hz, really fill in for the displays shortcomings, which are few. The battery is good, it lasts the day and will do fine with a bit of gaming and use throughout the day. The processor choice is the only gripe with this phone. While the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 might be powerful, it's a really power hungry processor, and can heat up a lot. All other aspects of the phone pass for me. It's an incremental upgrade, but not a bad one.
