Great TV but the remote sucks

I love the TV but the remote sucks. Great display. Great app. I need to buy the older remote that came with my other Samsung TV.

Very happy with the TV. Picture is clear and sharp. I’m not impressed with the remote. Changing channels is not as easy as I would like. Also took me a while to figure out how to control the volume.

Terrible sound

It wasn't easy to set up and the sound quality is terrible. This tv should be sold with a sound bar. In addition there was no manual so I could see how to connect dvd or sound bar
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for purchasing Samsung's CU7000D TV and for your feedback on the sound. To ensure you’ve got the latest sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.

You can choose from various Sound Modes that may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.

Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.

Should you choose to add a Samsung Soundbar to your TV, please know that our Q-Series Soundbars (such as the HW-Q600C) feature Q-Symphony which will synchronize with the speakers of your TV for an immersive 3D sound experience.

Terrible audio

I bought this TV based on previous success with Samsung products that I’ve owned. This TV did not measure up. The colors occasionally did not blend in a natural way leaving wavy blobs. This was minimal but still annoying. The biggest problem was the audio. I’m not sure if there was a defect or this is just the way the sound was. It was muffled and “clipped” even at low volumes. I returned this TV to the store and bought a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected

Bought this about a month ago and the pictures OK I had to buy sound bar for better volume and the set up was not all that easy. Every time I turn the TV on it says no signal so I have to use that little remote to move up to Samsung plus watch that for a second and then go to HDMI switch to that and then my TV comes on. What a pain.

Bang for the buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is pretty good for the price. I would like to say this is not perfect. Blacks are gray and there is off axis at the sides. This would mean that seeing it from the side would produce gray color. But hey you can't ask for more at this price point. Just wish samsung os is better with the remote navigation.

Mt daughter set my new tv up and was able to use it while she was visiting. She was really impressed with the responsiveness of the tv in general! She's now actually considering buying same model. I love the picture quality and the sound is crisp!!!
