problems with apps

this is my second CU7000D ... I returned the first because of a problem with apps...this has the same problem

Hi markl44,

If apps are not working correctly, we recommend first checking for firmware updates on your TV. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you do have the latest firmware, then you can next try a cold boot. There are two ways to cold boot your TV:

1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

Bought this tv about a month ago and so happy I did. Was looking at another tv but it was three times as expensive. I was concerned about the sound but I have a sound bar sounds great

This product is great! Absolutely the best clarity of any television I have ever purchased. One thing: don't worry about the stands. They may look a bit flimsy but they do a good job.

TV volume is seriously lacking.

It’s a great Tv EXCEPT the sound. At 100 (the highest volume) it’s not loud enough for certain things… movies. I am considering returning the TV because of this issue. Btw… I am NOT hard of hearing orca senior citizen who blasts their TV.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume on the CU7000 TV. I have a few recommendations that should help. There are several volume features you can adjust, which I have put below for you to troubleshoot.

1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.

2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.

3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode

Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

i like samsung tv’s but this particular one keeps loosing connection with the apps on the tv, it will show error messages then the app stops playing, unplugging the tv helps but it will start all over again. my latest software is updated, it’s not my wi-fi fiber optic, i had to plug in my roku stick and use that with no problem.

First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

Next, I recommend running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

I also recommend the following for Wi-Fi connectivity issues:

Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router

Great TV for streaming and an incredible picture

Got this TV about three weeks ago. Picture is great. For the price point, you cannot beat the picture and the size. Have all Samsung and one LG. Thought I wanted to move away from Samsung, but between this and the LG, I’ll stay with Samsung. Great simplified remote and Samsung has great tv channels to watch if you’re streaming. I’m doing all streaming now and this TV is perfect for it. Couldn’t be happier.
