[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This concrete stand with wheels is a great way to keep umbrellas upright during moderate winds. The wheels make it easy to move and the base is adjustable for several different size umbrella stands. Nice product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace an umbrella stand that was cracked. This was the heaviest umbrella stand I found. It is simple in design and extremely functional with wheels, hidden handles, and a brake so the stand won't slide around. I found it very difficult to find a good, sturdy stand that looks like it will hold up for years to come. Thank you BCP for providing a quality product worth every dime!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The issue with this stand is that with any amount of wind the umbrella swirls around and my guess is that simultaneously the pole holder piece starts to unscrew. I really like the vase because it’s heavy and with the wheels it moves nicely on the patio; however, the problem remains. Why does it unscrew at the base? I tighten it and then this repeats. I’m very disappointed. I was pleased it arrived in 2 days according to the description.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Umbrella base was exactly as described. The wheels make it easy to move around. So far it has done its job.
Exactly what I was looking for. Nice and heavy to hold the umbrella firmly to the ground and tilt proof. I don’t know why people indicate it fell over. If there’s heavy winds predicted, put t down. Very sturdy and easy to setup the wheels. The handles aren’t an issue since the have a slot to allow you to pull it from the stand. No issue here, and it’s so easy to roll. Highly recommended.
The description and features are spot-on. Great value. The base comes with bushings to adapt to different size umbrella poles, but unfortunately none of the bushings match BCP’s 10ft solar umbrella well. Very heavy - doesn’t move at all even in gusts with the umbrella open. I like the locking wheels - having the ability to push the umbrella around is most of the reason I bought this.
So far, so good. I give it 4 stars because I’m not sure how it will hold up long term. Seems to be a good product. I managed to uncrate it and haul it from my front steps to my backyard patio via a handcart. Got it established with my 8’x10’ umbrella inserted in the base. Have had some light winds and it’s holding up well, even when it’s open. It’s fairly easy to move around the patio with the integral handles and grabbing the base of the pole. It’s best to keep some furniture or potted plants around the base to avoid the possibility of tripping on it. Since there is only one screw holding the umbrella pole in the base, I’m hoping that the pole does mot become unstable after a while.
