So far so good. It is performing as I had expected. Directions were confusing to me on what to do with the nuts that were on bolts. Not sure I have wheels on correctly to use brake.

Best stand ever!

I've been looking for a stand like this for several summers and was so glad to find this one. I was a little reluctant since it is made of concrete, but decided to give it a try. I live near water, in a very windy area, and I've tried so many stands that just didn't measure up. I've had umbrellas blow over and fly into the neighbor's yard many times, but I just couldn't find a stand that worked. This one is perfect! We just had a storm this week with 25 mph winds, gusts up to 40 mph, and neither my umbrella (which is large), nor the stand, budged an inch! It was amazing. I will be buying a second one as soon as they are back in stock. I should also mention that the packaging was fantastic and the delivery was fast, just a few days after placing my order. FedEx delivered the box, which was actually the product inside its own box, placed inside a second box, with lots of insulation around it, then securely banded and taped. Awesome! Well worth the extra cost. Can't wait to get another one!

Son had to come and help me get this set up as it is very heavy and sturdy. Glad it has the wheels. What I would like to see in these bases is a hole all the way through it so you can put a bolt through it to make sure the umbrella won’t blow out. Would be better than just the screw on one side. But a hole would need to be through umbrella as well.
