I purchased the combo blower/trimmer about a month ago. It replaced a gas powered blower/trimmer. I am amazed at the additional power and features of these units that make it a breeze to blow and trim. Much better than gas powered units I replaced.

Sturdy Tool to cut off all unwanted bushes

I am very pleasantly surprised with how well this tool worked to clear off my backyard which is inclined at a steep angle. I was able to clear the whole area on one charge. The tool is very light. It is only the 80 battery which adds to its weight but it is still quite manageable, even if you are standing on an incline.
Although this tool worked great for me and I highly recommend it, I would say that 80v is probably not what I needed. Even 40v one may have worked just fine. 40v is significantly cheaper but you will most definitely have less battery power and I don't know how long will its charge last as compare to the 80v one.

Spool Poorly Designed & Minimum String

The Greenworks spool is very poorly built, to the point when installing it, all the string immediately unravels, even when following all the instructions. The amount of string only lasts a few cuts so it appears this is one way the company makes it's money since we have to order it so frequently.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
