Safety Button Will Not Depress

I bought this pole saw almost a year ago. The saw cuts extremely well. The problem I have is that the safety button near the trigger will not depress. This happened within the first month of owning the saw. I worked around the problem by getting it depressed (after much wiggling and force) and duct taped it closed. It doesn't work long before the tape stretches. Obviously it is a flaw in the one I own. So frustrating!! If the safety button actually worked I would give the saw 5 stars. I see Greenworks has put this button on their other chain saws. Now I'm nervous to purchase any product with the safety button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not always a replacement like they said it would be

Very disappointed with the outcome of this purchase. It was supposed to be a direct replacement for my 40V Kobalt trimmer. It did not fit, and when I considered returning it, there would be a net expense to me. Never again!

I’ve been happy with my 48v duel battery trimmer. Until I had to replace the trimmer string. I’ve ordered 3 different ones non of them fit… why do you have to make sooo many?
