powerful trimmer that is not to noisy and is green

I use this for my yard every couple of weeks. It works pretty well. There is a small delay in pulling the trigger but after a few weeks I you forget that the delay is even there. (I think there is a delay to make it last longer by not spinning up the motor too fast.) I like the adjustable speed, it seems pretty durable, its plenty powerful, and the battery lasts pretty well. It could be a little lighter for electric but I think it's a little lighter than my gas one. I also don't have to mess with mixing gas and buying gas, plugs, and air filters. The only thing I wished was that the head rotated so I could edge a little better but that is really minor for me. One more nice thing is it is quiet. I can use it at 8 am on the weekend and don't have to worry about all the noise.

Trimmer works well and is very easy to use. I have lots of star thistle around the ranch and my trimmer stays on the quad. So far the battery has far out lasted the line. The fact that I don't have to use gasoline anymore is such a blessing. Lightweight, cuts well. NO gasoline! Great unit.

I bought this trimmer and the 18" chainsaw. I am very pleased with both products. I grab it and go with no worries about starting or gas! The trimmer works and lasts plenty long enough on my huge yard. I haven't used the chainsaw much, but have 2.75 acres to try it out.

The power and cutting abilities has been equal and maybe even greater than my last gas powered trimmer. The line that came with the trimmer is super strong and I was able to cut thick weeds. I'll be investing in attachments such as a hedge trimmer.

Lots of power

I previously had a 24v string trimmer from another manufacture, but it was having trouble keeping-up with some of the thicker grass and weeds at my new house. I had already purchased other Greenworks products, so thought I would give the 80v string trimmer a try. This trimmer works great, and crewed through the thicket weeds and grass that I could throw at it. Having used gasoline trimmers in the past, I can say for a fact that this product can stand-up to them, no problem.

Not having to start my gas trimmer ever again is almost worth the price alone, but this really is a great trimmer all on its own. I just can't get over how powerful it is and how solid it feels in your hands. Starting and stopping is always needed with trimming, so to be able to just push a button to start and pull the trigger when needed is awesome (keep in mind it's silent when on but not running). I've yet to use all the battery charge, but I still recharge the battery between trimming and blowing while I mow and it's always ready to go at full charge. This is nothing like the electric or chargeable yard tools I've seen or used before, so huge fan here and can't recommend highly enough.
