Helps Long Covid

I bought this for my brother, who went to the Long Covid Clinic at Mayo Clinic. They recommended many potential therapies, including this. I bought it for him at a time when his long covid symptoms were particularly bad. He had been suffering for over 18 months and trying everything. Nothing really helped, except this. The Truvaga Plus made a huge difference. He is doing so much better now. I know that long covid is different for everyone and therapies that work for some don't work for others, but this has been very highly effective in my brother's case. A life changer. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Great Device, poor build quality

I've used my Truvaga nearly 200 times since purchasing in April. For me, it wasn't something that made an immediate change in my life. But with consistent use I have noticed better sleep, and it can help in stressful situations. My only gripe is the build quality, which is a big deal for a device this expensive. I exclusively use it at home and store it in a very safe spot, but have noticed hairline cracks around the electrode. The cover is also pretty flimsy, mine refuses to stay on. I think this product is definitely worth it, but could use some help in the build quality department.

I am happy with my Truvaga Plus. I am looking forward to positive results as I now use it correctly. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service I received. They were able to help with the problems with my device quickly and the Zoom session helped tremendously.

Device Easy Results Questionable

I have been using the device on my wife 2 times a day now for I believe a little over a month. I was using it for two reasons: her abdominal pain and her dementia. I realize this device is bit strictly used to treat these conditions but I read online it could. It's hard to measure its effect on dementia. But it isn't helping or at least very little with my wife's chronic abdominal pain.

This has been the fifth device I bought and gifted to family & friends. Been using the Truvaga Plus for 6 months now and my mood and my sleep as well as my level of calm has definitely increased. Also, my cholesterol levels have gotten better since I use it. One family member I gave it to is now starting to drop her hypertension medication (from 5 pills to 2). She has been using the Truvaga since Christmas. Another one got rid of some chronic pain.
This is a fantastic device and I wouldn't want to miss mine ever again. I most likely will gift a few more to friends if opportunity presents itself. Make a gift to yourself and try this wonderful piece of technology!

Excellent and a MUST have. . . until you drop it on a hard surface

It definitely provides enough relief to condone the expense. It really helps in so many ways. It does a lot of the same things that CBD or medical marijuana does without the risk of getting stoned; and not being able to drive after using it. It is more cost effective as well. It provides relief quickly and effectively without constantly having to buy something (CBD, MMJ), unless you drop it and it fails. The 350 (limited to 350 sessions) model would almost be used up by now for me in about a month and I'm glad I didn't bother with it. I lean on my Plus model a lot throughout the day and night. The only reason I am not rating this 5 stars is because of a weakness in design that I discovered. I dropped mine one time getting out of a car in a parking lot and that killed it instantly. I called CS to see if I could pay to have it repaired and they do not offer any repair service, at all, and offered me a 10% off coupon code, which I did appreciate and was going to use. It was dropped and failed after 11 days of use, but I am not going to lie and say it just stopped working without a drop, so the money back guarantee wasn't something I would take advantage of. I decided I would take it apart since it was as good as scrap, see if I could figure out what got broken and found a manufacturing defect or simply a weakness in the design. One end of the battery is soldered to a contact, which is great. The other battery contact, the one that failed, had a 4 spot weld that looked like there was not enough amperage or time in the spot welding process. The battery has some foam tape in there to sort of keep it stable but that is not enough to keep it from moving and breaking the spot welds. I soldered the broken connection and the until powered up fine but was not pairing. I told CS it was not pairing and realized I simply wasn't doing it correctly for a first time pairing, my fault. CS was great again, helped me and the unit works perfectly again! This entire unit is tough and well designed except for that battery stability issue or spot welded connection issue. I made CS aware of the issue and they passed it on to tech. Hopefully, they will improve that spot weld or solder it like I did, or maybe even just stabilize the battery better. These things are slick, round and very easy to drop. The housing is extremely difficult to get open and super tough. That spot weld or insufficient stabilization of the battery is the weakest point of the unit and the only thing I could complain about, at all. I will always have one until I can't have one anymore whether I have to keep repairing this one or have to buy more of them. I am not a professional electronics repairer, just a frugal, curious guy with two eyes and a solder gun, who doesn't know when to just give up and just buy another one like normal folks.

A solution to this could be as simple as Truvaga offering a shock absorbing case (sort of like a phone case) for it and buyers who dropped would pay great money for it when buying their replacement unit if it reduced the likelihood of failure due to drops, I certainly would right now if it worked well. Another very cheap solution that could reduce people dropping it could be a simple recessed loop molded into the case that a wrist or neck lanyard could be used with. A super easy assembly line change could be simply using some thicker or denser foam, an adhesive, or hot glue to keep the battery from moving during drops and breaking that cold spot weld. I hope they offer something to combat this failure issue because the product is amazing in function! If there is an improved Truvaga Plus or Truvaga Plus Heavy Duty I may buy one just to have a spare. I'm serious about always having one, it helps that much.
