Excellent bedroom TV

I have had this TV for about 6 months ago and I am completely satisfied with it. The on-time-to-menu selection-time is less than a second. The apps I use are available and easy to access. Picture clarity and viewing angles are great. Immensely better than the Samsung Crystal line. It costs more than the Crystal, but is worth it. Bluetooth remote is more convenient that a typical IR remote. My only real "constructive criticism" would be to have the pre-programmed buttons to be programmable. I'm not sure if the companies pay Samsung for that, but there are 3 rarely use and 2 of those, never.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved samsung TV's! I have 2 of them right now and the picture on the QLED is outstanding! I can see so many details I didn't know i was missing. I also love that I have all my apps on it that I want and I can add more!! I will definitely be getting samsung when it's time!

Easy antenna setup

I bought this a month ago to replace our April 2011 purchase 55” Samsung, that refuses to fail. Primary reason for purchase was to get past having to use a dongle for wireless network. Also purchased Samsung because of Samsung TV Plus.
New unit works flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Communication problem

I specifically purchased a Samsung TV to replace a Samsung TV I had enjoyed for many years. The picture is excellent: but, so often I am not watching what I want to watch. I may ask for Fox news and end up with Netflix. Usually after 4 or 5 tries I can watch what I want. I don't know how I am to communicate with the controls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To assist in learning the various functions, please know you can download the Q80DD TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under Support > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. You can search for and select the Q80DD TV to download the guides you would like.

The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

Longevity at it's finest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this unit for a little over a year now. Local dimming has been turned to max and the room it's in has 4 massive windows with tons of light. There's never any visibility issues with how bright the TV gets. There's been zero degradation in color and the smart features have not even begin to slow down with updates/aging software or anything yet. I'm considering purchasing another one!
