Sharpness of tv

Bought around Thanksgiving of 2024, 65” qled 4k , have fiddled around with the brightness and contrast adjustments several times. Pictures not as sharp as I expected it to be. Disappointed!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q80D TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

Great TV; Remote is Terrible.

Overall, this TV has a great picture and seems to fit my needs. I would have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the remote. Needs to have buttons for fast forward & rewind, added. This remote makes it VERY awkward to fast forward/rewind recorded content. I still use my firestick to access this content, which means using 2 different remotes!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A needed visual and audible experience

Purchased before the holidays and I'm blown away. I use mostly for movies, sports, and gaming. Some folks say sports don't look great, those people are wrong. The color, clarity, and gaming features are fantastic. The seamless integration with our Q-Series Sound Bar delivering a Q-Symphony feature creates an rich audible experience as well. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. If you're on the fence of QLED vs OLED, the experience with the Q80D has been incredible.

Love Love Love my Samsung Tv
Didn’t know it had lots of movies and category shows that I can watch for free. Haven’t watched my Netflix since I had it in December 10th 2024

Great tv horrible base

Samsung QLED is a great TV. Picture is flawless. Only flaw- this a major one. The base in the middle is terrible. Worst idea ever. Tv wobbles and I always feel like I’m gonna get up in the morning and it’s going to be on the floor. I replaced it with an after market one. Like the original one-2 feet- one on each side. I’m not the only one that thinks this. I have 2 friends who also have this tv and have also replaced the base back to the original style.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Always the best

Love my Samsungs, I cannot compare them to others as I have always had Samsung's. I have never had any issues with any of them. The last one I had over 9 years and it still worked great, I simply upgraded to a larger size. I will say the sound is off, I simply use a sound bar now. Maybe it is just TV itself, talking is always too low compared to music which is always to loud.
