This matches up great with all the other Thomas and Cranky playsets and gives them more variety and more chances to learn about how mechanics, switches and shifting work. A great educational toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids LOVE this Thomas and Friends train set. Thomas moves around the track and "communicates" with Cranky Crane. There is music also. It took about 20 minutes to put together- you will need a screw driver. Assembly was fairly straightforward and directions were easy to follow. Batteries are included. The train track, and basically the whole thing is plastic but it is durable. You can make a few different configurations with the track and connect it to other Thomas and Friends train sets. The only negative about this set is when my kids are finished playing with it, it keeps talking occasionally to get their attention (I've yet to find an off switch).
I would recommend this to a friend!

As my kids are fans of the beloved Thomas and Friends series, I was thrilled to discover this interactive train set. It was wonderful until the speaker decided to work whenever it wanted but most of
the time it just lights up but no sound comes out. If I would have known that the speaker was
going to go I would have spent my money on something else that my kiddo wanted for his birthday.
