Thomas & Friends Talking Cranky Delivery Train Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thomas & Friends Talking Cranky Delivery Train set was reviewed and played with by a 3 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. This train set was a huge hit. Both of the children were thrilled with the packaging. Having access to the "Cranky" and "Thomas" buttons on the outside of the box really added to the anticipation. It was a slight struggle getting "Cranky" and "Thomas" out of the box. It took 30 minutes for two adults to put the train together start to finish. This included getting all the parts out of the box and getting it set-up. The tracks were difficult for the 3-year old to put together, but the 5 year old did not have a problem. Once it was set up, both of the kids, played with the set for over an hour non-stop. The biggest thrill was the loading and unloading the cargo. The 3-year old boy was enthralled with the phrases Cranky & Thomas were saying, especially to each other at the loading station. Cranky and Thomas were actually having a conversation! Another bonus to this set was the different track layouts. Each different lay-out, was another adventure. I would absolutely give this a 5 star rating and recommend this set to others. It is durable. The pieces lock together and do not come apart easily during play. Even rough play. It kept both of the kids entertained for hours.

Fun for all ages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This track is good size. It was easy to snap together and follow the directions. I wish there was on off switch for both Thomas and the sound box attached.to cranky as they kept getting set off as I was putting things together. We also tried a train from my son's wooden track and they were also able to go on this track which is nice since sister wanted to play as well. It is cool that cranky and Thomas have conversations back and forth with each other. Also there is a red lever you can pull to stop Thomas so you can grab the cargo he is carrying with cranky. Overall this is a fun track even for some older kids. My son is 8 and is having a blast with it but so did my 3 year old daughter.

Great product all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great set to play alone, with friends, as itself or as an add-on. The set is easy to construct and then to reconfigure as you want. My older 8 yo daughter was able to take apart and rebuild the track, but not to much my 4 and 5 year old as easily. The set is very versatile and has a variety of what to do. My older daughter was able to understand the track and train talking and get a hang of how and when to use the button and how to turn on/off, my 4 yo not as much and did have trouble with just that part (it saying goodbye) but others was perfect. Otherwise, very fun. It cleans up nicely aside from one peice which you screw together and is a bit larger so it should be stored (when taken apart) in a larger receptacle)

Interactive and engaging train set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very interactive train set that keeps my child engaged day after day. Thomas and Cranky have many different dialogues with each other based on how the toys are positioned on the track and interacting. My child loves to listen to what they are saying and then continue to act out the scene with the toys. We are also able to play with our other Thomas & Friends trains on the track to make the storylines more engaging. We have a lot of fun watching the trains move around and playing with Cranky to load and move objects around the loading area. It's a big track and takes up a good amount of floor space. The assembly and understanding how to play with the track took ~25 minutes. Something I really liked was the instructions have a few different track layouts we can setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is pretty cool. Once you finally set it up it is lots of fun. The songs and sayings are a great interactive feature! My kid can use all his other Thomas train on this track, which is great! Make sure you have a good space for it, it’s pretty big! I do wish there was a volume setting as it can be loud.
