Bought this for the heat and air purifier. Purifier seems to work well, but this product should NOT be considered with a heating aspect.

Use it for purifying the bedroom in the evening/overnight to help my allergies.
Bought the model with heat and cool. Heater works great. I put it in my office, close the door and 20 minutes later I have a nice warm room without having to turn up the heat for the whole house.
Haven't used the cool setting yet (winter in Chicago) 😀
It works pretty well, but the fact that you can't set a schedule to turn on heat, or even start it from the app is ridiculous. Dyson needs to give up whatever silly certification they are gaining to make this more functional. Let's be logical, not liberal.

We love this for our son's room (which is always 5 degrees colder than the rest of the house) but have a few disappointments for such an expensive device. First, while I understand it's a safety guideline, not being able to control the HEAT temperature in the app is frustrating. Also, having the timer only last 9 hours with a child that sleeps 12-13 hours a night means we have to consciously remember to extend the timer on the app after a few hours. Wish the upper limit of the timer went to at least 12 hours.
That said, we love it's reliability, safety, the filtering component, and it's multiseason utility and have already bought a second for our soon to be newborn daughter.

After having this a few months, I can say that it functions well to heat, cool and purify. However, the controls are not as simple or intuitive as they could be. For example, there is no heating function on the My Dyson app but there is on the remote. To turn off heating, you have to enable cooling, then switch to auto. Much trickier to use and change settings that it should be for the price and sophistication of this technology. They need to work with owners to simplify the user experience of the controls.
