A bad batch??

I applied this to my convertible top when it was clean and dry, per the instructions, and at the first rain just two weeks later there is no beading of water. None. I've seen many many other positive reviews of this product so I'm concerned the bottle I bought was a bad batch? I"ll send a note to the Customer Service address and see what they say.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for contacting Gold Eagle Company. This is indeed strange as we usually get excellent feedback from our consumers. For best results, we recommend treating the top with just a thin layer of 303® Fabric Guard. We do not recommend oversaturating the material as this will impede proper curing. The important factor is making sure that the material is evenly covered. Also, make sure that the cleaner being used does not leave any residue or film. We understand your situation, so we are willing to provide you a free 16oz bottle for you to try again (remember 16oz should be able to cover about 75 square feet). If this works, please respond with your full address and phone number (for UPS) and we will ship it right away. Also, feel free to add any questions you may have.

Great way to protect convertible tops!

Bought this for my '91 Miata with a canvas top, this did a great job adding protection to the top, awesome water beading properties! I've also used it on my dashboard and like the clean look it gives, not oily like some other interior products
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a fan of Gold Eagle so I usually give their products a shot if I have any issues. I have a lake home in East TX and it can get quite humid there. I use the Fabric Guard on the patio furniture to help protect it from spills but also am always concerned about things growing where I don't want it to. I like the product and have used it as well on my car...to clean fabric and protect it from spills and also the sun ...at least it seems to keep the fabric looking new longer. I am a fan!

The Water Beading is Incredible!

So I picked this up for my car (Nissan 370z) and I saw their demo at the AutoGeek Detail fest show and wanted to try it on my own car. I tried it on my floor mats and was blown away at the water repellency! The water just wont stick to the floor mat or soak in. You can literally blow the water around and it just rolls off, so much fun to do and it truly does work as advertised, this is perfect for your truck or work vehicle that would see a lot of abuse over the years, 5 stars all around!
