Like a few other reviewers mentioned on other sites... - this completely destroyed my OEM Yamaha boat cover!
This was a VERY VERY costly mistake... and one I will never make again. First of all let me say my boat cover WAS in pretty good condition. @ only 2 years old I had several years left and constantly trailer with it so I know it was holding up well. I did notice that in some spots at the seams it was starting to leak so I started my quest in finding a good solution to waterproof. I figured I'd need something that could breath to hopefully prevent mold which would be an even bigger problem. The bad news was - i was heading to the lake where I store my boat for the season and didn't have the luxury of buying this in bulk. So I searched and searched and finally found it at a box store local to my area. After buying 10 bottles at a premium i was content knowing that I'd have a good boat cover for the season.
Fast fwd 3 days. I go to take the cover off to load the boat and notice that by simply grabbing the corner of the cover the material looked very week. Disclaimer: I've taken this cover on/off 20 times in the previous 2 weeks before applying 303 to do some maintenance and am very meticulous about these things. It was NOT like this before... but maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. So I thought.
Happy - heading to the lake for the first time. Boat owners know this joy. Until you get the dreaded point from passing cars... maybe it's a break light or something. I pull over. The cover... shredded.... my 2yr old could rip it to pieces. Almost as if the 303 started to disintegrate the top.
Not only did I pay a premium for the 303, now I need a complete new top! This probably works with a sunbrella material top. But NOT OEM covers...
SHAME ON YOU GOLDEAGLE / SUNBRELLA!!!!

As a boat owner - i'm usually a fan of all things sunbrella.... not this time.

Great protection for deck cushions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this primarily on our deck cushions since they are exposed to rain and dirt constantly and it seems to work great as I can just wipe off the cushions before we use them and all the dirt and debris wipes right off.

Good product, faulty sprayer

I purchased the 1 gallon jug and 32 oz spray bottle from Costco. I attempted to spray our new patio couch and chair cushions. A painstakinly slow process was worsened by the spray bottle. The spray pattern was half light mist and half heavy direct stream like a water gun. Thus, it caused the fabric to get soaked in some areas and properly misted in others. I am not sure how this will affect the water repelency yet but it has caused staining on the cushions even after two days of curing in above 75 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product poor applicator

I purchased two bottles of 303 fabric guard and both sprayers were inoperable. I would think that for the price of the product that it would come with a operable sprayer .The product is great and protects as advertised but only if you can apply.

The 303 Fabric Guard did what I was hoping for. My outdoor Sunbrella covered patio cushions.had lost their ability to repel water after cleaning the cushions a few times. After spraying the cushions outside following the directions, I brought them inside to dry overnight. Now, rain water rolls right off. I think if I spray the cushions once per year, it will help the staining I get from the elements.
