Similar to HL 2200 series; Early issues; now OK

This machine was purchased to replace an old HL 2270 that was a GREAT printer for me, but finally gave out. The 2350 was on back order a long time, and when it finally arrived, the drum was defective. Almost all printed documents had a black strip down one edge. I ordered a new drum and toner cartridge assembly from a discount toner company and all works fine now. Some features were not working properly initially, but are now working after I went online for new software.

Super Dependable With Good Quality Print

Easy to install when attached to a local PC. Once on the network, it's easy to add from any other device. Still haven't figured out how to move to wireless on the original PC. This is my second one. Had the last one more than 10 years. Print quality is super and the print speed is very good. Will still print when in deep sleep (the old one wouldn't).

Sleep Mode Problem

Printer would not wake up from sleep mode. I changed connection from WiFi to USB and still had the problem. Brother tech support sent me a new driver and printer started working OK. I have not gone back to WiFi but new drivers are working fine on USB. Printer will also save paper by printing on both sides of the page.

No lift top

So far I have had a good experience with this printer. It replaced a similar Brother model that was discontinued. The wireless printing function works great. Print quality is good and speed is as expected. I like that i can also choose double sided printing as well.
