Excellent Printer

Great laser printer for the price. Started right up out of the box without any issues. Fast printing, easy to load paper and relatively small footprint. The only issue I have is the inconvenient way envelopes are treated. My printer is on a desk against the wall. In order to retrieve the envelope after printing I have to move the desk:printer away from the wall to open the rear panel to get my envelope out. Brother should have come up with a better envelope pathway

A little difficult to set up for first computer but not unreasonably difficult. needed to look on computer screen and click. It would be good if the screen was larger. Hard to see what it said. Second computer was less complex, it set up without need for checking screen. Third computer went right in with no USB attachment. Love Brother printers. We had our prior one for about 7 years before it failed. Could no longer find web connection. We have another in our condo that we only use during the Summer.

Operating Manual missing

As a writer, I need a printer that is reliable and fast. The HL-L2350DW fits that needs. My only complaint is that the product did not include a comprehensive operating manual, only a fold-out quick set up sheet. I wish it had a "cancel print" button or a way to stop printing other than unplugging the product.

A friend and our son own one and I was able to experience how easy it was to use and the quality of the prints. I own color printers but we wanted a printer that would print out quality black and white prints.

This printer was, at first, an excellent value. Adequate print quality, inexpensive to operate, convenient and reliable WiFi connection. That was until the printer suddenly lost the ability to connect to our network. (MacOS, IOS, Eero mesh router). I spent hours going through the connection trouble shooting steps, rebooted and reinstalled multiple times. Then I spoke with a Bother tech. Went through the same steps, got the same outcome. Then I repeated the process with a senior tech. Also ran remote diagnostics. No luck. Then I was transferred to someone who might be able to replace my machine under the warranty. Was told it was over a year old and not covered. He also told me that they had been having issues with Eero routers experiencing unstable connections with the printer. (Pay attention here if you have an Eero.) Per Brother I am SOL. I am checking on line for another printer, definitely not Brother, but on a whim I check the Eero documentation. Found a little tweak in the app in a few minutes and, presto, printer connected. I hope the Brother tech support team is writhing in shame over not being able to find in hours of effort a solution a 78 year old user solved in ten minutes with a little creative thought. Remember they told themselves that there were issues specific to Eero. How embarrassing.
