Excellent printer for the money

I got this laser printer for about 2 months now and have experienced absolutely no problems. Set up was very easy and I got the Wi-Fi connected and installed and that's all we use right now. Double-sided printing Works flawlessly

Very good printer

Prints very well on both front and back. I have some concerns pertaining to ink purchase and why this printer does not have a scanner for this price. Ink appears to only be available through Brother

Offline???

Nice printer but keeps going offline. The troubleshooter keeps saying turn printer on (it is). I've been through all the help sites and there doesn't seem to be much agreement on what to do.

Brother's Best

This is my second Brother printer. The first one last 12 years with no problems whatsoever! The reason I bought this one is that during a move the cartridge somehow emptied its contents into the old printer and I didn't have the equipment to clean it up. I was so happy with that great 'workhorse' that I bought this one, and it has proven to be just as marvelous as the other!

Small business uses are a success

I replaced a trusted HP laser that had simply ended its useful life. I chose the Brother because the reviews for the unit were very good. I use it in a home office and primarily print single sided pages. I have printed a few double sided pages primarily just to test the function and it worked perfectly. We print a small amount (maybe a ream a month). The printer is used as a device on our home network and is accessed by multiple pcs via the network. I have chosen to use Brother toner cartridges since I had always used HP cartridges for the HP printer without a cartridge failure. We are still using the first cartridge with no problem. I have done some relatively large printing (over 100 pages for one word file) and all pages printed fine. Printed forms (IRS) and all graphics printed fine.
